Young people from Gaborone, Mochudi, Tlokweng came together for an afternoon of Christian fellowship, active engagement and community building 🙏

The day's highlights:
⛪ Divine Service + 11:00 AVT Service dedicated to the Young People
🍽️ Fellowship lunch before heading to the sports grounds
🙏 Opening devotion & welcoming charge by Priest Nelson at Thornhill Primary
🤝 Icebreakers, stretches & a mixer to connect across generations
🏐 Sisters' Netball round-robin matches
🏃 Community games — relays & sprints
⚽ Feature match: Church Ministries vs. Youth, with halftime snacks & fellowship
🏆 Closing ceremony, awards & a final charge and prayer from Priest Nelson

Young people from *Kauxwi, Shakawe, Mohembo, Nxamasere, Sepopa & Etsha* congregations gathered in Etsha 6 for a weekend of fellowship, service and faith 🙏

Weekend highlights:
🔥 Friday arrivals & bonfire fellowship, with a discussion on Detachment from the Church
🎉 Official kick-start by District Rector Priest Manyando Setlhare, welcomed by Priest Jack Kahopa of Etsha 6
🎨 Youth talk & church painting
🎁 Food hampers & toiletries donated to Botshelo Mahambaye of Etsha 6
🎶 Choir practice in preparation for Sunday service
⛪ Combined Sunday service with YP, Adults & Sunday School, led by District Rector Manyando Setlhare, assisted by Priest Samuel Elias (Mohembo) & Priest Mareko Jack (Sepopa)
📡 AVT Service by District Apostle Peter Lambert (Cape Town, SA) — 53 YP in attendance!

✨ Ghanzi District Dare2Care Youth Weekend 2026 ✨
📍 Ghanzi Congregation | 31 July – 2 August

Young people from Maun, Sehithwa, Ghanzi, Lehututu & Charleshill came together for a weekend of Christian fellowship, service, and caring for our communities 🙏

Weekend highlights:
🤝 Arrival, registration & fellowship on Friday evening
🍲 6 families blessed with food hampers, hymns & words of encouragement
🙌 Outreach guided by District Rector Mr. Mukwati, the Ghanzi Rector & Lehututu Shepherd
🕊️ Youth stood in support at a former deacon's funeral, sharing food hampers with the bereaved family
💬 Honest discussion on "Challenges Faced by the Youth in Serving in the Church"
🎶 Choir practice led by National Young People Leader Bro. Bokani Letshwenyo & Bro. Brian Sabuta, with Rector Matengu on organ
🔥 Fellowship braai to close out Saturday
⛪ Sunday Divine Service + 11:00 AVT Service, followed by farewell lunch

67 young people gathered in Kavimba for a weekend of faith, fellowship and service under the theme "Still Believing – All 4 Christ" 🙏
Camp highlights:
🔥 Bonfire fellowship & warm welcomes
🧱 Delivered 300 bricks to a community beneficiary — Dare2Care in action!
🏠 Household visits to testify and encourage
🎮 Team-building games & choral praise
💬 Real talk on dating and Christian values with District Evangelist Munisola
⛪ Divine Service with Kavimba congregation + special AVT Youth Service by DA Peter Lambart

Pentecost 2026: Chief Apostle arrives in Cape Town!

Chief Apostle Jean-Luc Schneider has arrived safely in Cape Town, South Africa, for the Pentecost festivities!

The District Apostles and District Apostle Helpers have also started arriving, while others are still on their way.

In the build-up to the festive day of Pentecost, the Chief Apostle Helper, District Apostles, and District Apostle Helpers will conduct midweek divine services across the Greater Cape Town Metro area. The Chief Apostle and his entourage will also engage in the International District Apostle Meeting (DAM) over the following two days (21-22 May). In addition, they will attend a concert in Silvertown on Saturday, 23 May, which will be broadcast globally.

The Chief Apostle will conduct the Pentecost divine service on Sunday, 24 May, from Tafelsig Church in Cape Town, South Africa. The divine service will be broadcast via NACTV on the free-to-air set-top box, YouTube and Cape TV and will commence at 10 a.m.
