TEND AND KEEP

“Then the LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.” Genesis 2:15 (NKJV)

Life is an assignment; until you discover your assignment and pursue it, there will be no meaning in your life. You are not alive to survive; you are not just alive to job or for what to eat and drink, you are for a purpose; those who think life ends on the race for survival are already out of touch with their assignment. Your education, exposure, skill acquisitions are to help you discover and pursue your assignment.

God spearheaded a new beginning in Genesis 1:1-25, the earth was formless, directionless, in absolute chaos and disorder, and the first thing God created was order. From our opening scripture, man has one assignment on earth; it is to ensure that the planet earth does not return to Genesis 1:2, for this to happen, man has to tend and keep the earth to preserve and improve on the created order. One sign of a cursed people is that their environment is out of order; wherever you are, you are put there by God to tend and keep, in doing so, you are fulfilling your assignment.

PRAYER
Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for today’s devotional, I receive wisdom to discover my assignment, pursue it and create order in my environment, in Jesus Mighty Name!
