Francistown Sunday Service | Goitsemodimo Khiwa | 14th June 2026

This Sunday, Pastor Khiwa shared a message about seeking the Lord.

He began by explaining how often we seek God for things; our needs, our desires and everything we want Him to do for us in the natural; more than we seek what He desires to do within our hearts.

Looking at John 3:30, John declared that his one desire was: “He must increase, but I must decrease.” This should also be our desire as believers.

Daily, we are called to live for the Lord and remain on the narrow path that leads to life, as we read in Matthew 7:13–14. Pastor Khiwa emphasized that when we walk on the broad road, it becomes easy to live independently, pursuing our own selfish ambitions, which ultimately lead to distraction and pull us away from God’s purpose.

True seeking is not only about bringing our requests before God, but about allowing Him to shape us, transform us, and cause Christ to be fully revealed in our lives.

Salvation | Brighton Charama | 14th June 2026

This Sunday, Pastor Brighton shared on salvation and the importance of being united in our understanding of what salvation truly is.

When we are genuinely saved, there’s a natural unity among us as believers and a comfort that comes from the Lord, even in the midst of trials. God desires to use the things we go through to build something in us and to comfort us, so that we may also be able to comfort others.

Pastor Brighton encouraged us to examine our attitudes during trials and hardships. We must not be people who fail to understand the purpose of these difficulties. Rather than constantly complaining or asking the Lord to remove them, we should seek comfort in Him and allow Him to strengthen us to endure.

To be born again is to embrace the work of the cross. In Mark 8:34, Jesus calls us to deny ourselves, take up our cross, and follow Him.

We must accept that before life can come, there must first be death. Just as Jesus embraced death on the cross so that we could receive life and salvation, we must submit to the discomforts that bring death to our flesh, trusting that His life will be produced in us.

Choose Whom You Will Serve | Francistown | Levi Page | 7th June 2026

This Sunday, Pastor Levi spoke about the things we may hold onto in our hearts and lives that can take the place of God. He reminded us that it is time to choose whom we will serve, because there is no middle ground without falling into compromise.

Drawing from Joshua 24:14–15, he highlighted Joshua’s call for the people to put away their foreign gods and serve the Lord with sincerity and faithfulness. Joshua boldly declared that he and his household would serve the Lord, setting an example of wholehearted devotion and commitment to God.

Pastor Levi encouraged us to pursue God with complete surrender, holding nothing back. He shared that God is separating His people from the world and purifying them for Himself, raising up a people who walk in reverence, holiness, and obedience. Our love for God and our service to Him should be our highest priority above all else.

In conclusion, Pastor Levi reminded us that, as followers of Christ, we are called to be different from the world and not seek its approval. Just as Jesus was rejected, we may also face rejection because of our faith. Referring to 2 Corinthians 6:14–18, he emphasized Paul’s instruction not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, but to come out from among them and be separate, living lives that reflect our commitment and devotion to God.

Ladies Meeting with Hayley Page | Francistown | 6th June 2026

It was a blessing to have Hayley Page in Francistown for a ladies’ meeting. Around 20 women gathered as Hayley shared the heart of the Lord for us to serve faithfully,in our relationships, in our marriages, and in every area of our lives,while remaining fully devoted to Him. She encouraged us to step out in obedience and not allow any hindrances, fears, or distractions to keep us from wholeheartedly serving the Lord.

Hayley also reminded us that true fulfillment is found in surrendering our lives to Christ and allowing Him to work through us for His glory. It was a timely encouragement to examine our hearts and consider how we can more faithfully love, serve, and honour the Lord in our daily lives. We then enjoyed a wonderful time of fellowship and tea together after the meeting, strengthening friendships and encouraging one another in the faith.

Men’s Meeting with Levi Page | Francistown | 6th June 2026

On Saturday, Pastor Levi Page shared with the men about the importance of fully embracing God’s dealings in our lives, understanding that our suffering is not in vain, but is for the Lord. When we submit to His process, we will not miss what He desires to do in us and through us.

He also shared that if we hold our own lives, we will miss out on the life of Christ. In the times we live in today, there are many distractions seeking to pull us away from who God has called us to be. Our lives should stand as a testimony and a challenge to the world around us. We should not walk carelessly like the world, but live carefully and intentionally according to God’s calling for our lives.

He concluded by reminding us that the Lord calls us to be men of vision, living in His holiness and refusing to compromise. Instead, we are to continue in fellowship with one another, walking by faith and living in the light.

From Darkness to Light | James Bobe | Gaborone | 7th June 2026

This Sunday, Brother James shared a message titled “From Darkness to Light.” He opened by reading Ephesians 5:8–21 and posed the question of whether we see that the Lord is building our lives. He reminded us that we were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. Often, we come to God with our own plans and desires, wanting Him to bless them, yet it is the Lord who is carrying out His perfect purpose in our lives.

James encouraged us that while the Lord desires us to do what is good and righteous and to bear fruit, it is not up to us to accomplish these things in our own strength. Rather, we must remain at rest, trusting Him to bring about change and complete His work in us. He also emphasized that our responsibility is to walk carefully and wisely, seeking to understand the Lord’s will and examining whether our hearts are right before Him.

In closing, James reminded us that the Lord is working to perfect His love in us and to establish His ways in our hearts. Our part is to allow Him to do so by remaining attentive and obedient to His leading.

This Sunday, Pastor Levi shared a sobering message on obedience and the condition of our hearts before the Lord. Through the life of Saul, we saw that disobedience is not simply a wrong action but something that gradually corrodes the heart. Although Saul was given clear instructions by God, he chose his own way and justified his actions rather than humbling himself before the Lord.

The message contrasted Saul’s heart with David’s. Both men sinned, yet their responses were very different. When confronted, Saul was concerned with how he appeared before people, asking Samuel to honor him before the elders. David, however, feared losing the presence of God and cried out, “Do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.” One heart sought to preserve its reputation, while the other sought to remain close to the Lord.

We were reminded that religion can easily replace true surrender. Church attendance, service, and outward acts of devotion mean little if our hearts are unwilling to obey God. The Lord is not looking for performance but for a people who will yield fully to Him.

Pastor Levi challenged us to examine our hearts and allow the Holy Spirit to expose any compromise, pride, entitlement, or love for the world. We must remove the little foxes that spoil the vine before they harden our hearts. The call was not merely to avoid disobedience, but to cultivate hearts that treasure the presence of God above all else and remain tender, surrendered, and obedient to His voice.

Otse health outreach | 30-31st May 2026

This past weekend, we had a wonderful time in Otse alongside APSA as we carried out a health outreach and evangelism initiative. Our desire was to serve the community by ministering to both physical and spiritual needs, demonstrating the love and compassion of Christ in a practical way.

Many members of the church faithfully gave of their time and energy, serving in different capacities throughout the outreach. Some went into the community to invite residents, while others assisted with logistics, worship, prayer, and support for the health professionals. We were grateful to have dentists, a paediatrician, a general practitioner, and other healthcare workers who offered screenings and consultations to people of all ages.

Following the outreach, we gathered for worship and the preaching of God’s Word. Brother James shared from John 3:16 on Saturday, reminding us of God’s great love and the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. On Sunday, Brother Leto ministered on the Lord’s desire to heal broken hearts and restore lives. We rejoiced to see many people respond to the Gospel, surrender their lives to Christ, and receive prayer and encouragement.

We give thanks to the Lord for all He did among us and pray that the seeds planted will continue to bear fruit.
