*Weak Vessels | Levi Page | 6th September 2026*
This Sunday, Pastor Levi shared a message titled “Weak Vessels,” reminding us that our walk with the Lord will include tests, trials and difficult situations that He allows for our growth. Although we may want Him to remove these things, He sometimes allows them to remain so that He can work deeply in our hearts and teach us to depend on His strength.
Pastor Levi shared about Paul, from 2 Corinthians 12:7-8, who was used by the Lord to perform many miracles. He reached a point where he had a thorn is his flesh that he pleaded with the Lord to remove. Instead, the Lord kept it and told him that His grace was sufficient and that His strength was made perfect in Paul’s weakness. His heart changed towards his situation and he rejoiced in his suffering because he believed the words of God .
We were encouraged that some things we want removed may be the very things the Lord is using to bring growth and transformation in our lives. Rather than continually resisting what He allows, we should surrender and remain obedient, trusting His purpose even when we do not understand. Through these trials, the Lord brings about a death to self, allowing the life and fragrance of Christ to be produced in us.
In closing, Pastor Levi reminded us from Hebrews 4:14-16 that the Lord understands our weaknesses and knows what we go through. Therefore, we can trust Him and approach His throne with confidence, knowing that His mercy and grace are sufficient for us in our time of need.
