Enemies Within

Not every enemy comes from afar. Some sit at your table, eat your food, enjoy your kindness, and smile in your face while secretly working against you.

The most dangerous betrayal is not from strangers, it is from those who know your strengths, your weaknesses, your plans, and your heart.

Some people mistake your kindness for weakness. They benefit from your generosity, yet despise you in private. They celebrate your losses and become uncomfortable when God lifts you higher.

A wise person learns that loyalty cannot be bought with favors, gifts, or opportunities. If gratitude is not in a person's heart, no amount of help will change them.

Be careful of those who only draw near when there is something to gain. The moment they receive a little advantage, they become proud, forget where they came from, and begin to fight the very hand that helped them.

Not everyone around you is for you. Some are assigned to watch. Some are assigned to delay. Some are assigned to destroy. Discernment is not hatred; it is wisdom.

"For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it... But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance." Psalm 55:12–13 (KJV)

Stop wasting your strength trying to convince disloyal people to be loyal. Protect your peace. Guard your vision. Value those who stand with you in difficult seasons.

Sometimes the greatest act of wisdom is not fighting an enemy, it is recognizing who they are and refusing to keep them close.

Not everyone who eats with you is for you. Not everyone who smiles at you loves you. Open your eyes. Discern. Move wisely.

Today we celebrate fathers who stand strong through every season, who lead with wisdom, sacrifice with love, and remain faithful even when the journey is difficult. Your strength inspires generations, your prayers cover your family, and your example leaves a legacy that outlives your years.

May God continue to bless every father with courage, wisdom, good health, and divine favor. May your labor be rewarded, your household prosper, and your children rise to call you blessed.

Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of fathers. Strengthen them, guide them, and fill them with Your wisdom. Bless the work of their hands, protect their families, and establish their legacy in righteousness. Let them be pillars of faith, love, and integrity in their homes and communities. In Jesus' name, Amen.
