She held the Eucharist in her womb. Today we celebrate her birthday.

Mary of Nazareth was chosen by God to carry His Son. From the moment she was born, she lived a holy life, offered completely to God.

Blessed Virgin Mary, pray for us!

The Eucharist heals.

And through it, Jesus offers us salvation.

St Thomas Aquinas wrote extensively on the sacrifice of the Eucharist, and composed a liturgy to celebrate Corpus Christi. What can his theology of the Eucharist teach us today?

Join Professor Angus Brook for the Didasko Faith Formation online series lessons on 'Thomas Aquinas on the Eucharist and Corpus Christi', as he unpacks this topic.

Gather as a parish, or join individually from wherever you are, and be part of this journey of Eucharistic teaching and renewal.

'Be yourself.'

How many times have you heard that said?

It sounds simple. But everyone knows how hard it can be to live that truth.

The Good News is we have a loving God.

He loves us for who we truly are, and He calls us to be ourselves.

By being ourselves, we can live out His love, loving others vulnerably and openly.

Today is St Augustine's feast day.

From his own experience of turning away from God, St Augustine knew that the Eucharist was the most transformative thing God could give us.

'God in his omnipotence could not give more, in His wisdom He knew not how to give more, in His riches He had not more to give, than the Eucharist.'

St Augustine, pray for us!

Jesus invites us to abide in Him.

Respond to this invitation of love today by sharing in the Eucharist.

'This is my body, given up for you.'

These aren't the words of a priest.

They're the words of Jesus.

And they point to a sacrificial love that's hard to live out.

As Fr Ben shares, we often find it hard to sacrifice for others, even in small ways.

But Jesus did that for us.

He gave His whole life in sacrifice for us.

In Him, we encounter the perfect sacrifice.

And we can experience that love and sacrifice in the Eucharist.

Sometimes, it can just look like bread to us.

But the Eucharist is real.

It's Jesus, given for us.

In the Eucharist, we receive the gift of unending love.

"If Jesus was sitting across from me right now..."

What would you say to Jesus if He was right before you?

For Fr Ben, it would be a chance to give thanks, and apologise for ways he's missed the mark.

What would you say? Come to Jesus in adoration.

Sit across from Him and speak to Him.

Since June, a relic of St Carlo Acutis has been travelling Australia.

Thousands have people have gathered to pray, venerate his relic and to encounter the Eucharistic miracles that inspired this remarkable young saint.

Now, that journey is continuing.

St Carlo Acutis is an official Eucharist28 saint because through the Eucharist he was renewed, transformed, and sent out to spread the Good News to others.

And he reminds us to do the same – to encounter Christ and to tell others about Him.

The relic currently travelling Australia contains a piece of St Carlo’s heart, a heart completely given to Jesus.

On this journey to Eucharist28, may we come to love Jesus, and His presence in the Eucharist, like St Carlo did.
