Feast Day Celebrations 🌭🎉

What a fantastic Feast Day we had last Thursday!

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful volunteers who helped with the Junior School sausage sizzle. Even with the rain making an appearance, everyone powered through and helped us serve up a yummy lunch to kick off the day’s celebrations!

We’re so grateful to everyone who gave their time to cook, serve and keep things running smoothly - we couldn’t do these events without you. 💙

Congratulations to Our Scooter Winner! 🛴🎉

The celebrations continued into the afternoon with our scooter raffle, and what an incredible response we had! We had a HUGE afternoon of raffle ticket sales, so thank you to everyone who purchased a ticket and supported the P&F.

A very big congratulations to our lucky winner, Neath from Year 2K! 🥳 We hope you have lots of fun with your awesome new scooter.

And an extra special thank you to Reece Whitby MLA for generously donating the scooter to our P&F. We truly appreciate your continued support of our school community. 💙

What a week! Our Father’s Day Stalls are officially done and we’re so happy to share that, thanks to the incredible support of our school community, we raised an amazing…

🥳 $1,486.26 PROFIT! 🥳

A huge thank you to every family who purchased gifts and supported the stalls throughout the week. We loved watching our students carefully choose something special for their dads, grandads, pops, carers and other important father figures. 🎁💙

An extra special thank you goes to our wonderful volunteers who gave up their time to help us set up, restock, manage some very enthusiastic shoppers 😂 and pack everything away. These events genuinely wouldn’t be possible without you.

And of course, thank you to the staff and College for working with us throughout the week and helping us get so many students through the stalls.

Every dollar raised goes straight back into supporting our students and school community, so $1,486.26 is something we can all be incredibly proud of! 🥳

From all of us at the Mother Teresa Catholic College P&F, thank you for another fantastic event.

Our popular Father’s Day Stalls are back, giving students the opportunity to choose a special gift for Dad, Grandad or another important father figure in their life.

SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Secondary School Father’s Day Stall will be held on the following days:

📅 Monday, 31 August
⏰ During Recess and Lunch
📍 Location: Old Canteen behind the Learning Hub (look for signage)

📅 Tuesday, 1 September
⏰ 8:00am – 8:20am (Before School), Recess and Lunch

Pre-purchased Father's Day Stall Gift Tickets are preferred via the Humanitix link below. Cash and EFTPOS purchases will also be available on the day.

JUNIOR SCHOOL

The Junior School Father’s Day Stall will be held on:

📅 Friday, 4 September

Students will visit the stall during their allocated class time with their classroom teacher. Class time slots will be released closer to the event.

💙🤝 Community Supporting Community 🤝💙

At MTCC P&F, we’re passionate about bringing our school community together. 🏫💙 Whether it’s meeting other parents, volunteering at events 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️, supporting school initiatives 🎉, or simply making new connections, our goal is to create a welcoming, supportive community where everyone feels they belong.

Here’s a wonderful example of what that looks like in action… ✨

🎉 Yvonne, a proud grandmother of one of our students, was the lucky winner of one of our Mother’s Day Raffle Hampers. Inside her hamper were some beautiful Dusk candles 🕯️, generously donated by Willows Plumbing, along with their business card.

Not long afterwards, Yvonne found herself needing a plumber. 🚰🔧 Remembering the business that had supported our school, she contacted Willows Plumbing - and was delighted with the service she received. 👏😊

💙 That’s the power of community.

When local businesses support our school, our families discover those businesses and have the opportunity to support them in return. 🏡➡️🏪 It’s a wonderful cycle that strengthens local businesses, our school, and our entire community. 🌱💙
