Axis Church Axis Church is based in North Lakes, Brisbane, and meets on Sundays at 8:15am, 10:15am & 5pm*
*4.30pm on the first Sunday of each month.

(PM service goes into recess in summer holidays) Officially launching on the 9th of September 2012 in North Lakes. A wonderful group of people from many backgrounds joined hearts to form the foundation of a new Wesleyan Methodist Church. Our public services in North Lakes are Sunday at 9:00am and 5:00pm (in recess during summer holidays) and Prayer service at 9am Tuesdays. We are on the corner of

Discovery Drive and Gardenia Parade, North Lakes. All are welcome in our Church family where Christ is at the centre, the axis upon which our whole lives revolve.

We live with eager expectation, that when we pray, God is going to show up.
The Hebrew word 'qavah' (kah-vah) means to wait, to look for, to hope. It is active waiting, not simply killing time. It is eagerly waiting for God to act, even in the midst of distress. It is deliberate waiting, binding our heart to the expected intervention of God. We wait on the Lord, expectant, and in doing so, HE renews our strength. Great are you Lord!

This is a fantastic way to support our young people and give them the opportunity to grow in their faith, encounter God, and create memories that can shape the rest of their lives.
