Adam's story is a reminder that every one of us can relate to Peter.
📖 Matthew 14:28–30 (NKJV)

Peter didn't begin to sink because the storm suddenly became stronger.
He began to sink when his focus shifted from Jesus to the wind and the waves.
Fear has a way of making God's promises seem distant, but even in Peter's weakest moment, he cried, "Lord, save me!" and Jesus was there.

Like Peter, we all face moments where fear and doubt challenge our faith. But the good news is that Jesus is still reaching out His hand to those who call on Him.

If you are going through a tough time right now, remember to fix your eyes on the Lord.

The other person is not the real enemy. Our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. This is a spiritual battle.

See the real enemy for who he is, and begin praying for your earthly enemies. The enemy has already been defeated through Jesus Christ. He often works through brokenness, temptation, sinful desires, and self-centeredness.

Pray for those who come against you. Ask God to bless them, open their eyes to His truth, and draw them closer to Him.

When you put God first and choose to live in His will, He can lift your perspective above the problems of this world. The circumstances may not change immediately, but your heart can. You begin to see life through God’s eyes and find peace even in the storm.

Ephesians 6:12

Keep your eyes on Jesus. He has already won the victory.
