Happy Ist Anniversary in the Mudgee Salvos Church building! 🙌🫶
A shout out and blessings to our awesome sister church - Mudgee Salvos Church on our first anniversary of our official reopening of our Mudgee Salvos Church building, moving from our small church hall. Under the leadership of Steve Medved with a heart for reopening Bathurst, Lithgow and Mudgee churches, we pioneered the first discipleship group in the Salvos Perry St hall in 2022 almost a decade after Mudgee Salvation Army was closed. After growing into 2 discipleship groups of faithful members we now thank God for our amazing people in both our Tuesday and Friday Discipleship groups. William Booth would be smiling! 🙂

Christmas Toy Hampers - early information

Lithgow Salvos Church is truly blessed each year to see our community coming together to make Christmas a little brighter for our families doing it tough.

Each year, businesses and individuals donate toys for families in the Lithgow Region who are struggling.

For those families doing it tough, toy applications* are invited in early December, so add this to your diary before the craziness of the season hits. 😃 These applications are to be in person at Lithgow Salvos Church cnr Mort and Cook Sts on the following dates:

Thursday 3rd and 10th December between 10am -12pm.
*Requirements:
: Families doing it tough with children 12 years and under.
: You will need to be a primary carer and 1 x application for all children (12 years and under) per household.
: You will need to bring with you proof of id - drivers licence and a medicare card.
: Applications must be in person at these times only.
: Applications are limited to the number of toys donated by our generous local community members, businesses and charities.👏

Each year wonderful volunteers help us sort the toys into age categories and we'd like to express appreciation in advance for the work they do 💞

We look forward with you to an upcoming joyous Christmas 2026

Blessings from Lithgow Salvos Church!
