The Transition Commission (TC) has been established to guide the Uniting Church Synod of NSW & ACT through the formation of three new Presbyteries following a resolution at the Synod meeting in July 2025 to restructure from the existing 12 presbyteries.

The Far North Coast (FNC) Presbytery recently celebrated the end of a very special era with singing, joy and anticipation as they prepare to refer responsibilities to the Northern Presbytery Joint Standing Committee on 30 June 2026.

APRIL UPDATE: Throughout April, the Transition Commission was busy hosting nine Town Halls to share the first full draft of the baseline staffing model and hear your feedback.

So special to be here for the final gathering of the Riverina Presbytery. Southern Presbytery Transition Leader Rev. Amy Junor led the update and business of Transition matters. This comes only one week after her ordination and induction to the Transition Commission.
