Not long now for our 150th Anniversary Celebrations.
Come and learn the history with our guided tours on the Saturday, listen to beautiful singing while the children play games and colour-in, plus the Soma Coffee Van will have coffee, tea with biscuits etc for sale. Why not also come celebrate with us on the Sunday at 1.30pm. You will be most welcome, we’d love you to come, it won’t be the same without you!!!!

This is what is happening at Gateway on the 11th & 12th July for our 150th Anniversary. Please come along and enjoy the Choirs, singers, musicians and much, much more. The Soma Coffee Van
will be with us,on the Saturday 10.30-2.30pm offering a wide range of coffee, tea, milkshakes etc plus homemade cakes & biscuits. See you there. 😀😀😀😀😀😀

4 WEEKS TO GO TIL OUR ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS. We would love to see you there!
Saturday is turning out to be a special time with Stephen Atkins, Gospella
a capella Choir, The Launceston Male Choir and many more taking part, along with Guided Historical Tours, games for the children and a colouring-in competition with prizes happening between 10.30-2.30 pm. Open to everyone, SO PLEASE COME.
Sunday is our Celebration Service at 1.30 which is also open to everyone followed by afternoon tea. Something for everyone!!!!

DID YOU KNOW that Gateway Baptist wasn’t always the name of the Church, it has in fact had 5 names.
Henry Reed first called it The Christian Mission Church. When he died the new Church building was first known as The Temple but then became known as The Reed Memorial Church. In the 1930’s it became a Baptist Church and was renamed Memorial Baptist Church. It wasn’t until the early 2000’s that it became Gateway Baptist Church!
