*Divine Conversations in His Presence – by Calpenia Ntloko*
Bosiung bona ke ile ka hopotswa ka seo re kileng ra se bona with my family. It was around eleven at night in 2009. When I researched this, it was recorded on 21 November 2009 in South Africa. We were driving back home from a church conference in Gauteng, heading toward Rustenburg. The roads were quiet, the sky dark, and the air calm with that stillness that came just before midnight. Then suddenly, without warning, the heavens lit up.
For a brief moment, it was as bright as day. Everything around us glowed in that supernatural light. Then, as quickly as it came, it was gone. Silence followed. We were left in awe, speechless, wondering what we had just witnessed. We didn't know if we should keep driving, which we continued in that shock.
The following day, we saw on the news that it had been a meteor, a celestial event that lit up the skies across South Africa. But deep within my spirit, I sensed it was more than a scientific occurrence. It felt like heaven speaking.
*When Heaven Lit the the Midnight Hour*
God often reveals His glory when we least expect it. The Bible says,
Isaiah 60:1,4
[1]ARISE [,*from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you–rise to a new life*]! Shine (be radiant with the glory of the Lord), for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you! [Zech. 8:23.]
For behold, darkness shall cover the earth... but the Lord will arise upon you.”
(Isaiah 60:1–2)
That night, the sudden light reminded me that no darkness is too deep for God’s light to break through!
Even when the world feels quiet, cold, or uncertain, one divine moment can shift everything.
Just as the shepherds once saw “the glory of the Lord” shining in the night fields of Bethlehem (Luke 2:9), we too can experience sudden illuminations of God’s presence moments where heaven touches earth to remind us: God is near. Rene re tshohile re ipotsa h**e re qeta ho bonang?
My reflection:
When God Lights the Sky!!!
For me, that flash of light became a symbol of God’s timing and glory:
It was a sign of His nearness even in life’s night seasons, He can reveal Himself suddenly.
It was a call to awaken, to be alert, because divine moments often come when we are simply on the road, going about our journey.
It was a reminder of His power that creation itself testifies of His majesty (Psalm 19:1).
Sometimes, the Lord allows us to witness the extraordinary to stir our faith in the ordinary but not to worship creation.
The Light That Shines in Our Darkest Hours
We are living in the last days when so much around us feels overwhelming; trials, tribulations, malice, and false accusations. Many find their names, work, and reputations intentionally attacked, just as it happened with Christ.
It is in such dark hours of your life whether through loss of any kind, betrayal, or deep disappointment that His glory will be revealed upon you.
The light of His Word will be your everlasting light, bringing hope where there seems to be none.
There will be a solution, a breakthrough, and a testimony of His faithfulness.
Let’s continue to fix our eyes on Him, the author, and finisher of our faith.
Hold on to His promises for they are yes and amen.
When all else fades, His light will remain.🙌
Let's Pray🙏🌷🌺
Father I come before this morning. Your Word says Your mercies for us are new every morning. Great is your faithfulness.🙌💕
I lift everyone one reading this Word and this prayer that your presence may cover and rest upon us today. Thank You for being the light that shines in every darkness.
When we can not see the way, remind us that Your glory can break through at any hour.
Let our spirits remain awake to Your presence, sensitive to Your signs, and filled with awe at the wonders of Your hand.
Even in the midnight seasons of life, teach us to walk in the assurance that You are near.
Amen.✨🤗💝
