💙Father's Day Service Reflection💙

On Sunday, 21 June, we came together to celebrate and honour the fathers and father figures who continue to lead, guide and support their families with love and faith.

The service was filled with gratitude and appreciation as we acknowledged the invaluable role that fathers play in our homes, church and community.

Following the service, our fathers were treated to a delicious meal and a special braai, prepared with love as a token of our appreciation for all they do. It was a joyful time of fellowship, laughter and celebration.

To all our fathers, thank you for your strength, wisdom, sacrifices and unwavering love. May God continue to bless and guide you as you lead by faith and example.

🎓❤️Youth Day Service Reflection❤️🎓

On Sunday, 14 June, L.W. Ntloko Memorial AME Church commemorated Youth Day with a special service celebrating the young people of our church and our nation.

The theme for the day was School Uniform, symbolising the importance of education, the sacrifices of the youth of 1976, and the continued pursuit of knowledge and opportunity for today's generation.

Following the service, the Young People's Division (YPD) hosted a fellowship session with the youth from St. Andrew's Anglican Church. The gathering began with a Mentorship Match, providing an opportunity for young people to connect, engage and build meaningful relationships.

The session was followed by a Financial Literacy presentation facilitated by Sis. Joy Motsoenyane, who shared valuable knowledge on managing finances, making informed financial decisions, and building a secure future. Her presentation empowered the youth with practical life skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.

The day was one of worship, learning, fellowship and empowerment, reminding us that investing in our youth today is investing in a brighter tomorrow.

"Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers..." – 1 Timothy 4:12

🌸Mother's Day Service Reflection🌸

On 10 May, we celebrated Mother's Day, a special day dedicated to honouring and appreciating mothers for their love, sacrifice and unwavering support.

At L.W Ntloko Memorial AME Church, we proudly celebrated our mothers and gave thanks for the important role they play in our families, church and community.

During the service, the Women's Missionary Society mothers unveiled their banner.

The day was filled with joy, fellowship and gifting as we showed our appreciation to our mothers. We also enjoyed a delicious meal prepared with love in celebration of these remarkable women.

As Mother's Month comes to an end today, our love, appreciation and gratitude for mothers do not end here. We continue to celebrate and cherish them, not only in May but throughout the year.

💐 To all mothers, thank you for your love, strength, prayers and guidance. You are deeply appreciated today and always.

✝️Good Friday Service Reflection✝️

We gathered at L.W. Ntloko Memorial AME Church for a deeply moving Good Friday Service, reflecting on the suffering and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. 🙏

Both Part 1 & Part 2 of the service were led by Bro. T. Makhubela, who served as the worship leader, guiding the congregation through this sacred time.

Via Dolorosa was presented by Sis. E. Maloka, reminding us of Christ’s journey to the cross.

✝️Seven Words of the Cross:
•Scriptures were read by YPD members
•The Words were preached by Lay Preachers
•Each word was followed by heartfelt prayers by the Mothers

The service concluded with a meaningful summary by Bro. S. Makhubela, bringing together the message of the day.

It was a powerful and reflective service, reminding us of the depth of God’s love and the sacrifice made for our salvation.❤️
