🎓❤️Youth Day Service Reflection❤️🎓
On Sunday, 14 June, L.W. Ntloko Memorial AME Church commemorated Youth Day with a special service celebrating the young people of our church and our nation.
The theme for the day was School Uniform, symbolising the importance of education, the sacrifices of the youth of 1976, and the continued pursuit of knowledge and opportunity for today's generation.
Following the service, the Young People's Division (YPD) hosted a fellowship session with the youth from St. Andrew's Anglican Church. The gathering began with a Mentorship Match, providing an opportunity for young people to connect, engage and build meaningful relationships.
The session was followed by a Financial Literacy presentation facilitated by Sis. Joy Motsoenyane, who shared valuable knowledge on managing finances, making informed financial decisions, and building a secure future. Her presentation empowered the youth with practical life skills that will benefit them beyond the classroom.
The day was one of worship, learning, fellowship and empowerment, reminding us that investing in our youth today is investing in a brighter tomorrow.
