Child Protection Week- 29 May- 5 June
"The Green Machine"💚

This morning the Sunday school had a Child Protection discussion.
Safety in our homes, schools and communities were the main focus and the kids learned a powerful truth: Even when humans fail to protect one another, God always will. He is our Greatest Protector and Closest Friend.

We blew up our green balloons, which symbolized the children in our communities and everyone had to protect their balloons at all cost against "evil doers" (a few kids were secretly chosen to steal and burst their friends' balloons.
This activity taught them this truth: John 10:10 "The thief comes only to steal, kill and destroy" so we must stay watchful.

When all the heavy discussions were out of the way, the joyfulness came to light. We played games, danced and had fun like children ought to.

What a delight it is to be a child😁
Let's make it our mission to protect our kids and keep them safe from harm.

Boys Brigade Celebration Service! 🙏💙

Today we proudly acknowledged and celebrated all old Boys’ Brigaders, as well as every person who played a part in the success and growth of the BB over the years. It was wonderful to fellowship together with fellow Brigades from Kleinvlei, Church Street and Rusthof.

A special thank you to Rusthof’s Brass Band for beautifully leading the hymns and to the Brigade Band for filling the service with joyful sounds that truly made us rejoice! 🎺🥁🎶

Thank you to everyone who came out this morning to support and celebrate the Boys Brigade. Your presence made the day even more special.

Women's Breakfast 2026🌷

This morning, our men showed up and treated our women like queens.

40+ women gathered for a morning of good food, fellowship, laughter and rest. A few hours of just being- no worries just relaxing.

Thank you to the men for organizing, serving and creating space for our women to breathe and be celebrated.

From the guest speakers, to the spirit in the room, to the joy on every face -it was a morning we won't forget.

Well Done men.

Ascension Day Service 2026 ✝️

"He was lifted up and a cloud took Him out of their sight." - Acts 1:9

What a blessing to have all the ministers from our circuit gathered together this morning to celebrate the Ascension of our Lord.
Grateful for their unity, their service and their commitment to shepherding God's people.

We were also honored by the presence of their spouses; the steady backbones who serve and support alongside them.

May the work of their hands continue to build up the Church.🙌🏼
