One of the most popular quotes from the bible that is printed on everything from mugs to hoodies is from Joshua 1:9:
_"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go."_

This command and promise was given to Joshua as he readied the Israelites to conquer the Promised Land.
Can people in the 21st century claim this promise for ourselves?

Come join us tomorrow as we start a new journey in *Joshua 1* with ancient Israel into the Promised Land and what that means for us as God asks us to be committed to His Kingdom.

*What it means to be Reformed*

CCW is part of the Reformed tradition.
What does that mean?

October is Reformation month, and we will look at one way of answering the question by studying five statements from the Reformation era, called the 5 Solas or "alone" statements.
This Sunday, we will look at, "Scripture alone".

It will lead us to think about who we allow to have absolute authority over us.
Should we add anything to scripture when we address the big problems in our lives?
