The Lord has an appointment with each of us this October.

Convergence is two days of making ourselves available to Him, and asking Him to multiply what He has already started.

Disciples: it begins with one person following Jesus, and then another.
Generations: it carries to the ones coming behind us, which is why your whole family belongs in this room.
Nations: it reaches further than we could go on our own.

We will be hearing from Ps Muriithi Wanjau from Kenya and Ps Shodankeh Johnson from Sierra Leone, as we unite as different nations under one mission: to see the nations come to know Christ.

Send this to a friend that might be scared to go to church.

We’re all carrying something when we walk in on a Sunday. Whether it’s fired up joy and excitement, or hurt and confusion. Maybe even loneliness or doubt.

Christ sees it all, and embraces us with open arms. We invite you to come as you are, and be transformed by His unfailing love.

“Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.””

Romans 15 begins with a call to welcome one another and ends with a beautiful blessing:

As we place our hope in Christ, the Lord fills us with joy and peace, causing hope to overflow from our lives through the power of the Holy Spirit.

What a precious gift. What a wonderful promise.

If you find yourself feeling lost or discouraged, spend some time in Romans 15. May it fill you with fresh hope and remind you of the loving heart of our Father.
