Bring Every Thought into Captivity

2Corithians 10 vs 5

The apostle Paul says that when a negative thought comes whether it’s fear, worry, or doubt you can’t just ignore it and hope it goes away. You have to take it captive. If a thought goes against what God says, it is an intruder and has no right to stay in your mind. God wants us to be proactive with our thoughts. Don’t give negative, discouraging thoughts a place to live. Refuse to dwell on them or replay them in your mind. Instead, replace them with what God says in His Word. The more you focus on His truth, the stronger and healthier your mind will become.

Father, thank You for giving me the power to take captive every thought that goes against Your Word. Thank You that I can cast down negative thoughts and focus on Your truth. Thank God Before the Promise

God promised Abraham a son when it seemed impossible. Years passed without any sign of the promise, but Abraham chose to keep trusting God. Instead of giving up, he stayed strong in faith and continued to praise God.

Sometimes you may not see any sign of what God has promised you. Instead of worrying or doubting, choose to worship. Thank God for what He is doing, even before you see it. Faith grows when you keep praising, trusting, and believing that God is working behind the scenes.
