Centenary Birthday Tribute to the Late Diocese Bishop MI Govuzela.

1926 – 2011

For the Church of St John's Apostolic Faith Mission

Today we remember and honour our beloved Bishop on what would have been his 100th birthday. Though he departed to glory in 2011, his legacy stands unshaken in the house of God and in the hearts of His people.

Born in 1926, uBishop was raised for such a time as this. He carried the mantle of Apostolic faith with boldness, humility, and uncompromising truth. As a shepherd of St John's Apostolic Faith Mission Western transvaal Diocese, he fed the flock not with the wisdom of men, but with the power of God.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith 2 Timothy 4:7

100 years since his birth, we still walk in the doctrine he defended and the love he demonstrated. The seeds he planted in faith continue to bear fruit in this generation.

Today we stood not just in remembrance, but in unity. Through every note played and every word spoken, we honored a life and strengthened the bond that keeps us together. In unity, there is comfort. In unity, there is healing. And in unity, God commands His blessing.
