Faith in Action

In my faith journey, I have learned that Faith and pride don't walk together. You will have to be humble to walk by faith. And in that, God will exalt you.

After God said to Abraham, "Leave your native land and go; I will show you where to go." And Abraham went at God's word, and if you look at his journey, you see that he had to pass through other lands, and he found himself vulnerable, didn't know how to ask for help, so he could pass through; in his case, he lied so he could get to where God was calling him to. So, in his obedience to God, he found himself needing help, and it wasn't easy for him to get to where he needed to go in obedience to God's Word.

So, just like Abraham, I have found myself in a vulnerable place- being transparent and needing help from people, over and over. When I needed to pass through, I had to humble myself so I could pass all the hurdles before me to get to where God is calling me to.

I just wanna encourage someone today that walking in Faith is not in the absence of obstacles; no, you will face them, and in order for you to pass through, you will need to ask for help, humble yourself, do it, and get to where God is getting you to be. Focus on the task at hand; do not let pride keep you from getting to God's destination for you.

So be humble, be vulnerable, and be honest; ask for help, seek knowledge, and get to your destination.
