When King David danced before the Ark of the Covenant, it wasn't for entertainment or an audience—it was a raw, unashamed expression of gratitude to God.
Yet, in modern church culture, physical expressions of praise like dancing, shouting, or lifting hands can often divide people. Some view it as a distraction or a performance, while others see it as a necessary, biblical response to the goodness of God.
There is a distinct line between a heart overflowing with genuine worship and a platform designed to draw attention to oneself. True praise always points the glory back to God, never to the person doing the dancing.
