Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of life and for the blessing of Christian marriage. Pour out Your Holy Spirit upon all who celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. Grant them wisdom, strength, good health, and hearts that continue to seek You. May Your love surround them today and always, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Message of Thanks to Our Choir & Organist

A very special word of thanks and appreciation to the Choir of St Mary Magdalene Anglican Church, and to our organist.

Thank you for the beautiful way in which you lead us in worship through music and song this morning. Your ministry is not simply about singing or playing an instrument—it is about helping us lift our hearts and our voices to God.

Every rehearsal, every note, every hymn and every anthem is an offering to the Lord. There are times when your ministry may go unnoticed, but please know that it is valued, appreciated and deeply important to the life of our church.

As Scripture reminds us:

“Sing to the Lord a new song; sing to the Lord, all the earth.” — Psalm 96:1

May you never lose sight of the One whom you serve. When you sing, sing for His glory. When you play, play as an offering to Him. And when you lead us, may the Holy Spirit use your ministry to touch hearts, bring comfort, inspire faith and draw people closer to Jesus.

Blessing

May the Lord bless every member of our Choir and our Organist.
May He strengthen you when you are tired, encourage you when you feel discouraged, and fill you afresh with His Holy Spirit.

May your voices proclaim His goodness, may your music bring joy to His people, and may your ministry always point beyond yourselves to Jesus Christ, our Lord and Saviour.

May the Lord bless the work of your hands, the song of your hearts and the music that you offer in His house.

In all that you do, may God receive the glory.
