Such a blessing to be a blessing 🫶

Some pics of our recent recipients 💖

We are so greatful to our donor schools in the Gqebergha area who support us by giving so generously from their "clothing banks"... In a place where poverty and financial struggle is dire, we are able to help many students with much needed uniform items because of this generosity ❤️‍🔥

A couple of months ago we ran our usual Jesse Pads sanitary drive...

This time however the buy in was very slow and we had to really work hard to get folks to donate packs of pads... (blessings to those that did give so generously)

During this time, was also when the news of how toxic disposable pads were, went viral worldwide... and I think this too hampered the donations to an extent...

But God being all knowing, already had a plan in motion, and "out of the blue" we recieved 200 packs of washable sanitary pads (800 single pads in total)) from an establishment called Komani, coincidentally also hailing from Komani (formally known as Queenstown)...

These past weeks we have been doing exactly what the pads were intended for and reached out to schools in our area to, speak on feminine & menstrual health and also the distribution and education of washable sanitary pads...

Thanks again to all those that have supported this initiative, you have made a large impact in the lives of these young ladies.

And a special thanks to Komani pads for looking out for our girls feminine health and well-being.

God bless you❤️

The past few weeks we have been giving free biggeners sewing classes...

With the aim to, Firstly, upskill and empower the community around us, in order that their lives may be enriched and possibly they would be able to broaden their income options by using the skills they have learned, as well giving them the tools to cater to their own monthly menstrual and incontinence needs by making and using washable pads...

And Secondly, that *"Jesse Pads Lesotho" could be birthed...

*"Jesse Pads" is a project within the NPC Jesse & Co, whereby washable sanitary pads are made sustainably by volunteers and are distributed free of charges to poverty stricken Woman through-out Africa...

We are excited to share the pictures taken over the past few weeks with you...

*We have 30 ladies who have signed up to be part of the Jesse Pads volunteer movement. We Praise God for this blessing 🙌...

But we will need your help to get us started and this project sustained here in Lesotho 🙏

You can help us by donations of:

▪︎ Hand Sewing Machines (working)
▪︎ Fabric & sewing essentials
▪︎ Financial Gifts @

Our Monday got coloured by love...❤️🩷🧡💛💚💙🩵💜

1 Corinthians 13: 4-7

"4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres."

We thought it would be fun to do something creative with our Monday biblestudy group and felt it was a good time to spend some time looking at "Love". What it is and what it is not!

We all had so much fun...and now we have a poster reminder on our walls so we can't forget 💗

A personal testimony:

(The back-story)
Tuesday mornings are Biblestudy in HaSemenyane, however today the plan was to go up the mountain to a sister in Christ who struggles to navigate the mountainous terrain down to where we usually meet...

As many of you may know I have really been struggeling with my back and knees the past while, but my heart was willing to do the steep walk... then this morning I woke up with severe back and knee pain and not feeling at all myself...but unwilling to cancel our plans we drove to our destination village, parked the bakkie and got out... suddenly I was overcome with a sudden heat flush and felt very dizzy. So much so I needed Gary's assistance to walk to where I could be seated... As I sat there recovering feeling quite dazed I prayed that Father would please give me the strenth to overcome what was happening to me and to persevere and push through with our plans...

Gary gave me a stick to help my with my journey and off we all set towards the house right at the top of the mountain...

Praise God, the minute I started walking all pain left my body and I soldiered on right to the top and to my utter amazment made it there first and not even out of breath...

Then the Holy Spirit lead us all by the words of Jesus in Matthew 19: 23-30...

Verse 26 was the verse that spoke so deeply to me... because I in my own strenth could not do this walk, but God had a plan and a purpose and supernaturally gave me the strenth, perseverance and healing to fall inline with His plan.

Praise God 🙌👑

When unexpected life delays cause Kingdom opportunities 🙌 👑

We recently had the privilege of "standing in" for a brother in Christ, who had suffered delays (due to vehicle issues) and would not be able to make his preaching appointment at a little community church (held at a preschool) on the edge of a mountain...

We felt a little unsure as to the expectations, but trusted God would provide what was needed in so much as a word to share and a translator... and true to His word, God delivered both... we had such an amazing time!

And again we can testify:

God never leaves us nor forsake us 🙌👑

The clouds were very dark and warning...

However Tuesday afternoons are Biblestudy and Discipleship in Mavuka... and as we said "Amen" at our closing prayer the heavens opened and we scurried indoors... never a dull moment wrt the weather here in the mountains 🇱🇸

Snakes in the grass 🐍 & Sports

This is the season of tall grass here in Lesotho... it is wonderful for feeding the livestock 🙌👑, but its also the seasons for the feared "Copper" ( a type of cobra snake with a copper coloured head)

Gary has always had a deep love for children and so he has been mowing playing areas at our local schools... (Leqooa Primary; Mavuka Primary & the Volley- & Netball courts at Mavuka High, where he (Gary)currently volunteers as assistant Voley ball coach)

Thanks goodness Gary always keep the grass neatly trimmed in our yard🙌👑... and so I have not had the "privilege" yet to made this copper's aquintance😅.

I was so moved again today by the ladies who walked 3.5 hours (one way - from their remote villages in the mountains) to come and register for sewing classes...
..this time in HaSemenyane, 2 villages away from our current sewing classes in Koung.

My prayer is that this 6 weeks sewing program will in some way enhance their lives🙏

We were recently invited by the Leqooa Preschool in HaSemenyane, Lesotho, to attend their *Moshoeshoe day celebration...

Watching the little ones from all the Preschool in the surrounding district perform traditional dances was such a joy and warmed our hearts 💕

*
[MOSHOESHOE'S DAY commemorates the death of King Moshoeshoe I on March 11, 1870, and honors his legacy of unity, wisdom, and leadership in establishing Lesotho.

The day is also marked by traditional songs, dances like Mokhibo (for women) and gumboot dancing (for men), and traditional food.

Schools and communities often hold sports competitions, and many engage in the "Moshoeshoe Walk," retracing his journey]
