The Masakhe Foundation, the social outreach programme of the New Apostolic Church, is dedicated to serving our communities, irrespective of race, creed, gender, age, or religion. Their work is primarily voluntary, and as such, they require ongoing funding from donors to continue their community work.

To further support the Masakhe Foundation, the auditoriums of Olympus in Pretoria and Silvertown in Cape Town will host benefit concerts on Sunday, 23 and 30 August 2026, respectively. Tickets are priced at R100, and all proceeds will be donated to the foundation. Ticket sales will open on Sunday, 19 July 2026, at 5 p.m.

✝️ Divine Service for the Departed
Sunday, 5 July 2026 ✝️

Dear Brothers, Sisters, Family and Friends,

This Sunday, 5 July 2026, we will gather in all New Apostolic Church congregations for the special Divine Service for the Departed.
A sacred and deeply meaningful service that reminds us of God’s boundless love, grace, and desire for salvation for all people.

As New Apostolic Christians, we believe that God’s plan of redemption extends beyond this earthly life. During this service, we remember those who have departed and trust in the promise that, through Jesus Christ, His offer of salvation is available to all souls. As Scripture reminds us:

“For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead…” 1 Peter 4:6

This divine service invites us to reflect on God’s mercy, strengthen our hope in Christ, and appreciate His immeasurable love, a love that reaches beyond the boundaries of time and death.

As we approach this special spiritual event, let us prepare our hearts through prayer, quiet reflection, and expectancy. May we come with open hearts to receive God’s word and the blessings He has prepared for us.

We wish each one of you a blessed and prayerful preparation and look forward to worshipping together on this special occasion.

🎶 Pietermaritzburg District Male Choir Hour 🎶

Dear Brothers, Sisters, Family and Friends,

You are warmly invited to join us for a special Male Choir Hour hosted by the Pietermaritzburg District at New Apostolic Church Woodlands Congregation on Saturday, 4 July 2026 at 16:00.

As we prepare our hearts for the Divine Service for the Departed on Sunday, 5 July 2026, the district male choir will present an uplifting afternoon of sacred music, including Schubert’s beautiful “The Lord is My Shepherd” and many other inspiring hymns.

The Service for the Departed is a special New Apostolic Church divine service held three times a year. During this service, we pray for and remember those who have passed on, trusting in God’s love, grace and salvation, and believing that His offer of redemption extends to all souls through Jesus Christ (1 Peter 4:6).

We encourage you to come and experience an afternoon of worship, fellowship and beautiful choral music as we prepare together for this special weekend.
