Keep Sowing Good Seeds
Galatians 6:7-10 NKJV
[7] Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. [8] For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. [9] And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart. [10] Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all, especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Blessed morning, God's Own Possession and The Apple of His Eye.
Looking at the very first verse, the way the Apostle writes confirms that sowing shall be followed by reaping, when he mentions it in passing.
Although he emphasizes caution against sowing bad seeds, the manner of his approach puts reaping beyond being a point for discussion; it's guaranteed to follow sowing.
Sometimes we keep sowing good seeds (doing right/good especially to others) but see nothing coming out. Sometimes we see the opposite, yet we continue sowing good.
Sometimes the mouth you're feeding is the one biting your hand, but you keep doing good.
That's the nature of Christ which is now ours also, 2 Corinthians 5:17.
It's the evidence of having Mind of Christ, Phillipians 2:5.
It's very important to not allow the corruptible nature change your incorruptible one.
I'd like to encourage ourselves to continue doing the good that God has placed in us and we shall ultimately see the results, sooner or later. In due season we shall reap a befitting harvest. Ours is a good one because we keep sowing good seeds, being the obedient Children of God that we are.
May The Lord God Almighty grant us the Grace to ignore what's irrelevant to our new nature in Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour.
May we never take our eyes from Him like Peter did and ended up fearful, hence started sinking.
May we never be discouraged from doing good so we don't lose our harvest, Revelation 3:11!
