Good day, yesterday morning our First Communion class received their blessing to receive their First Holy Communion. They attended their classes so diligently and looked so beautiful so we can all be really proud of them. We want to thank their mentors, Clyde & Ernal who walked the path with them and their parents. Also, thank you to the parents for all the support and effort that you put in to this wonderful initiative. We will let you know when the next classes are starting so please register your children.

Yesterday, our Sunday school also attended the National Sunday school service in Wellington and St Stephen's was fully represented and supported. Our Sunday school teachers sent this message to say thank you:
Thank you for your support and for making it possible for us to be part of this special and meaningful occasion. Your willingness to support our Sunday School and invest in the spiritual growth and experiences of our children means so much to us.

We are truly grateful for the trust you have placed in us and for all the effort, planning, and support that went into making our attendance possible. Your kindness and dedication have allowed our children to experience fellowship, learning, worship, and the joy of being part of something much bigger than themselves.

Good day, today St Stephen's AWF hosted an Annual Women's Day celebration at our church hall. Our elderly ladies were pampered and spolied to the tee and the fellowship was great. We want to thank everyone who assisted in putting this mazing day together.

Goeie dag almal.

Wat n besige tyd het ons kerk agter die rug so geniet vandag se rusdag!!! Saterdag was ons Steak braai wat n reuse sukses was - ons weet nie eintlik hoe om vir almal opreg te bedank nie! Dit was n fenominale poging vanaf die reelings en uitvoering tot die beste ondersteuning nog ooit deur ons gemeente!!! Ons dank die Vader dat ons so ryklik geseën is met so n wonderlike gemeente.

Yesterday we also hosted the service to open the derby between Noorder Paarl and Paulus Joubert schools and we wish them both good luck for all the upcoming games and we pray for all the children who are going to participate.

We also want to say a Happy Women's day to all, thank you, thank you and THANK YOU!!!

Goeie dag familie, ons wil vandag net baie dankie se vir ons span wat so hard gewerk het om Vrydag aand se dans so n sukses te maak. Sonder hulle sou ons dit nie kon doen en en sonder julle ondersteuning sou dit nie so n groot sukses gewees het nie. So dankie, dankie en dankie aan almal!!!!

Yesterday morning, Sonicca Lendoor spoke to us about substance abuse. We know how this touches everyone around us and we want to thank her for a very inspirational talk on this subject. We want to encourage all who are affected to please reach out as there many organizations who offer support and we also ask our congregation to keep them in your prayers.

Good day everyone. Yesterday we had a wonderful celebration of the Athlone Institute Trust's centenary Youth event. Guest speaker Rev Dr Allan Boesak spoke so eloquently about not only what the youth's part has been in this country history, but what their part should be in our country's future. This sentiment was also echoed in this morning's mass where Cadi de Jager testified of her incredible journey thus far. She is of course the grand child of one of our beloved previous rectors, Frank de Jager. The message that both speakers brought was that our youth must put God first and then the rest will fall into place in His time, not in our time!

Our wonderful ladies of the AWF Exco and new a member were also inducted today. Please keep them in your prayers as this time of the year the need is amplified by the cold and wet weather.
