Good morning!
*God is Good*
“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. And in that day shall ye say, Praise the LORD....” Isaiah 12:3 KJV
Praise can be understood as the expression of gratitude and thanks to the Lord, as conveyed through the words we speak. This concept is emphasized in the English Standard Version, which states, "And you will say in that day: Give thanks to the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted" (Isaiah 12:4 ESV).
The phrase "make known his deeds" implies sharing testimonies of God's actions. Grateful individuals often share their testimonies, always finding something to say about what God has done for them. They are always bubbling with joy.
What kind of a person are you?
Be sure that you are a testifier. Remember to always share your personal stories of the wonderful things the Lord has done in your life.
In 1 Peter 2:9, there is a beautiful message that says, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light."
Notice the emphasized part: you were chosen and set apart to display His praise; to proclaim His powerful deeds.
So, continually share about His love, His grace, His faithfulness, and the tender care that you experience daily. Show gratitude to Him for enabling you to always be victorious and successful in all situations through Christ Jesus. Keep in mind, champions are always brimming with joy and gratitude.
