Good morning saints.....

A HEART THAT GOD DESIRES

Key Scripture:
"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart—these, O God, You will not despise." (Psalm 51:17)

---

1. A BROKEN AND CONTRITE HEART

God is not impressed by outward appearance, titles, or performance. He looks at the condition of the heart.

A broken heart is not a weak heart—it is a surrendered heart.
It is a heart that says, “Lord, I need You. I cannot do this without You.”

When your heart is broken before God:

- Pride is removed
- Repentance becomes natural
- God draws near to you

Psalm 34:18 – “The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart.”

---

2. A PURE HEART

God desires purity more than activity.

Matthew 5:8 – “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God.”

A pure heart is:

- Free from hidden sin
- Honest before God
- Not double-minded

You can sing, preach, and serve—but if your heart is not pure, God is not pleased.

Prayer:
“Lord, purify my heart. Remove everything in me that does not reflect You.”

---

3. A HUMBLE HEART

God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble.

James 4:6 – “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.”

Humility is:

- Depending on God completely
- Not seeking your own glory
- Being teachable

A humble heart attracts the presence of God.

---

4. AN OBEDIENT HEART

God values obedience more than sacrifice.

1 Samuel 15:22 – “To obey is better than sacrifice.”

An obedient heart:

- Listens to God’s voice
- Responds immediately
- Does not argue with God

Delayed obedience is disobedience.

---

5. A HEART THAT SEEKS GOD

God desires a heart that is hungry for Him.

Jeremiah 29:13 – “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

A seeking heart:

- Prays consistently
- Desires God more than things
- Is passionate about His presence

---

6. A LOVING HEART

God is love, and He desires us to love Him and others.

Matthew 22:37 – “Love the Lord your God with all your heart…”

A loving heart:

- Forgives easily
- Shows compassion
- Reflects Christ in character

---

CONCLUSION

God is not looking for perfect people—He is looking for the right heart.

1 Samuel 16:7 – “Man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”

Ask yourself today:

- Is my heart right with God?
- Am I truly surrendered?

May God help us all in Jesus name. Amen!
- Do I desire Him above everything?

May God bless you all.

May God bless you all.
