23 Years ago CFCI Mbombela was birthed and planted out of CFCI Johannesburg by the late Ps. Manfred went home to be with the Lord, the Church was subsequently handed over to Ps. Leigh Hunte
r that relocated from CFCI Johannesburg in 2015. We can truly testify that God is building His Church and believe God has a specific plan and destiny for the province of Mpumalanga and the spiritually significant "Eastern Gate". Our Ministry includes an Internationally accredited Bible College (See FB Page: CFCI Mbombela Bible College) that offers Christian Education focused on Practical Ministry, on a part-time basis with the option of 4 campuses (Mbombela (Nelspruit), Matsulu, Barberton & Hazyview. We believe that God wants to use the Bible College as His vehicle to equip, train and impart His truth to mighty men and women of God destined to build His Kingdom. More specifically to equip the Pastors & Leaders of Churches in Mpumalanga with the formal education required to lead and govern a Church that glorifies God and stands for the uncompromised Truth of His Word. The ministry further extends to a Foundational Training Department. that offers short courses on a variety of topics from the basic principles of faith and evangelism to leadership equipping, Emotional Healing & Restoration as well as a world renowned Marriage seminar but to name a few. We also believe in being Jesus' Hands and Feet through our Welfare Arm, where we aim to touch and change the lives of the less fortunate through various outreach projects. Our Counselling Department seeks to be a vessel that God can use to minister to lost and hurting souls. We also offer a training course for people that want to serve as Counselors. Lastly but most importantly we have our Prayer Division that extends to an interdenominational city & provincial wide audience, as we believe that God wants to unite the body of Christ through prayer and break down the walls & barriers that divide us so that instead we can lock our shields of faith and both posses and secure our spiritual city gates in order to push back the forces of darkness and ultimately claim our city, province and nation for God. We believe that the battle is won on our knees! Christian Family Church Mbombela is a PRAYING church, a WORSHIPPING church a GIVING church and a SERVING Church. Founded in September 1979 by Senior Pastor Dr. Theo Wolmarans and his wife Beverley, Christian Family Church International Johannesburg is one of the largest churches of its kind in Southern Africa. Dr Theo is an anointed teacher who presents the Word of God with complete clarity and simplicity, bringing understanding to every heart and mind while simultaneously captivating the audience with his bold, dynamic style. As a leading international minister and a member of the board of Dr. David Yongi Cho’s Church Growth International, Dr Theo is a much sought after speaker for churches throughout the world. Through his apostolic calling, he is responsible for the formation of many churches throughout Africa and various parts of the world, including the United States. Dr Theo and Beverley, along with more than 500 Christian Family Church associates birthed out of this ministry, also have a memorandum of association with the Apostolic Faith Mission of South Africa, founded by John G. This association now has more than 1,400 churches. Some time ago the Lord led Drs Theo and Beverley to found another church in America, and after many years of prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, Christian Family Church San Antonio was birthed. In just a few short years, more than 2000 people call Christian Family Church San Antonio their home church. The congregation has already experienced many signs and wonders through the couple’s ministry. Drs Theo and Beverley reside in San Antonio, Texas, although they periodically travel to South Africa to look after the church in Johannesburg. Dr Theo also provides apostolic oversight to the more than 500 Christian Family Churches & over 50 Bible Colleges worldwide, along with many missionaries, evangelists, and traveling Bible teachers who have all been birthed out of the Christian Family Church network. Dr Theo believes deeply in spending much time in prayer and God’s Word. The most important thing in his life is to know the will of God in all his decisions.
