Matthew 11: 28-30
“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”

The church building is not Jesus Himself, but it is a set-apart place where we gather in His name to encounter Him. As He has promised in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three are gathered in My name, there am I among them”—not “I will be,” but I am. May the heaviness of life and the weight of burdens not keep you away from Him today. If anything, let it draw you closer. As His Word assures us in James 4:8, “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
