FACTS🙏🏽❤😊

Biblical prophets are persons who convey a message from God, or teach the Word of God. In addition, sometimes God gave them a prophecy of the future to convey to the people of their time. In some cases, God used them in a miracle (e.g., Moses, Elijah the prophet, etc.).

A true prophet proclaimed the message given to him, as the “seer” beheld the vision of God (Numbers 12:6; 12:8).

Thus a prophet was a spokesman for God; he spoke in God’s name and by his authority (Exodus 7:1). He is the mouth by which God speaks to men (Jeremiah 1:9; Isaiah 51:16), and hence what the prophet says is not of man but of God (2 Peter 1:20-21; compare Hebrews 3:7; Acts 4:25; 28:25).

Prophets were the immediate organs of God for the communication of his mind and will to men (Deuteronomy 18:18-19). The whole Word of God may in this general sense be spoken of as prophetic, inasmuch as it was written by men who received the revelation they communicated from God, no matter what its nature might be. The foretelling of future events was not a necessary but only an incidental part of the prophetic office. The great task assigned to the prophets whom God raised up among the people was “to correct moral and religious abuses, to proclaim the great moral and religious truths which are connected with the character of God, and which lie at the foundation of his government.”

Any one being a spokesman for God to man might thus be called a prophet. Thus Enoch, Abraham, and the patriarchs, as bearers of God’s message (Genesis 20:7; Exodus 7:1; Psalm 105:15), as also Moses (Deuteronomy 18:15; 34:10; Hos. 12:13), are ranked among the prophets.

The 70 elders of Israel (Numbers 11:16-29), “when the spirit rested upon them, prophesied.”

Asaph and Jeduthun “prophesied with a harp” (1 Chronicles 25:3).

Miriam and Deborah were prophetesses (Exodus 15:20; Judges 4:4).

The title of prophet was thus a general application to all who have messages from God to men.

There are 16 MAJOR Old Testament prophets, whose prophecies form part of the inspired canon of Scripture.

These are divided into 4 groups:

Prophets of the northern Kingdom of Israel— • Hosea • Amos • Joel • Jonah

Prophets of the Kingdom of Judah— • Isaiah • Jeremiah • Obadiah • Micah • Nahum • Habakkuk • Zephaniah

Prophets of the Captivity period— • Ezekiel • Daniel

Prophets of the Restoration period— • Haggai • Zechariah • Malachi🙏🏼❤️

Do you realize the impact of gossip?

Today I want to help you understand the implication when you slander someone vs. when you approach someone according to the Word Matt 18:15-20

When you gossip, do you realize that it is a sin that leads to death?

When someone gossips about others there is always some fruit, now that fruit you start with your innocent gossip story ends in a story that is completely twisted. God is going to demand an account of you! Remember the experiments that were done that are distributed on social media...where people stand in a line and in less than 15 minutes a story is retold. The story ends completely and differently. Can you see how much damage is done to such a person who is slandered? By the time, you are retold the gossip story and told not to tell anyone else...Sound familiar? First of all, because you yourself are not sure about the story, fear has now also taken control, if the story comes out you may be sued for defamation!

When people gossip, I've learned their sin is usually more, and they gossip to feel better about themselves. It is a coward who slanders someone without going to that person and clarifying the matter.

Now let's compare it with Matt 18:15-20 The beginning with the following… If your fellow believers’ sins against you...

What it says to me is that with the first scenario, it was not a sin against you! It's just a hearsay story and the end of it leads to death, and therefore people who delight in gossip stories will not share in the kingdom of God. Are you busy with such stories, I want specifically for the men, if you really call yourself a man. And identify yourself as a man. Teach your son to do the things a man should do and enjoy. There is much more to life than setting an wrong example to your son of what a coward looks like and gossiping all day. Do you want to raise your son to have tea parties and gossip all day? Well that's the example you give him, what do you expect a different outcome? Our Dads are getting fatter and fatter by the day, they just sit and drinks and teaches wrong habits to the children. For the fathers who teach their sons to go fishing, play rugby, play chess, play football, make music... well done!

Help your son find his identity... If you're not going to do it, then the world and bad fiends will do it on your behalf . Start getting active again, go jogging with your son. Teach your son the good habits, things that can make a son a good man for his family one day. Break the bond of bad habits today. You put a curse on yourself and your family. Ask the Lord to forgive you, go and fix what you have spread.

If it doesn't affect you, keep your nose out of other people's business.

Read 2 Thessalonians 3:11-12 11 Yet we hear that some of you are living idle lives, refusing to work and meddling in other people's business. 12 We command such people and urge them in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ to settle down and work to earn their own living.

1 Timothy 5:13 New Living Translation 13 And if they are on the list, they will learn to be lazy and will spend their time gossiping from house to house, meddling in other people's business and talking about things they shouldn't.

2 Corinthians 12:20 New Living Translation 20 For I am afraid that when I come I won't like what I find, and you won't like my response. I am afraid that I will find quarreling, jealousy, anger, selfishness, slander, gossip, arrogance, and disorderly behavior.

Romans 1:29
New Living Translation
29 Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.

Matthew 5:23-24
23 “So if you are presenting a sacrifice at the altar in the Temple and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you, 24 leave your sacrifice there at the altar. Go and be reconciled to that person. Then come and offer your sacrifice to God.

Ephesians 4:31-32
"Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you"

10 lessons from the book "SIX months from NOW: The personal progress journal" by Max Bungeroth:

1. Set Clear Goals: Define where you want to be six months from now. Having specific, achievable goals provides direction and motivation for your personal progress journey.

2. Consistency is Key: Progress often comes from small, consistent actions taken daily. Commit to making steady, incremental improvements rather than expecting instant results.

3. Reflect Regularly: Take time to reflect on your progress, setbacks, and lessons learned. Self-reflection helps you stay aligned with your goals and adjust your approach as needed.

4. Embrace Growth Mindset: Cultivate a mindset focused on growth and learning. View challenges as opportunities for development rather than obstacles to success.

5. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself throughout your journey. Acknowledge your efforts and celebrate your achievements, no matter how small.

6. Prioritize Self-Care: Remember to take care of your physical, emotional, and mental well-being. Nurture yourself with activities that replenish your energy and reduce stress.

7. Seek Support: Don't hesitate to reach out for help when needed. Whether it's guidance from a mentor, encouragement from friends, or professional assistance, support can accelerate your progress.

8. Stay Flexible: Be open to adapting your plans based on changing circumstances or new insights. Flexibility allows you to navigate challenges more effectively and seize unexpected opportunities.

9. Focus on Habits: Build positive habits that align with your goals. Consistently practicing these habits will lead to lasting change and sustainable progress.

10. Celebrate Milestones: Take time to acknowledge and celebrate your milestones along the way. Recognizing your achievements boosts your confidence and motivates you to keep moving forward.

These lessons emphasize the importance of clarity, consistency, self-reflection, resilience, and self-compassion in personal progress journeys. They can serve as guiding principles for anyone seeking to improve themselves and achieve their goals over a six-month period or beyond.

Evening Prayer 🙏

In you, Lord, I have taken refuge; let me never be put to shame; deliver me in your righteousness. Turn your ear to me, come quickly to my rescue; be my rock of refuge, a strong fortress to save me. Psalm 31:1–2

Lord our God, give us your Spirit, we beseech you, that we may find your paths on earth and live in the hope and certainty that everything is in your hands, even when we see much that is unjust and evil. May we remain under your protection, living by your commandments and in your Spirit. For your Spirit witnesses to the truth and longs to change and lift up our lives. Your Spirit longs to reach all people who have felt your touch, longs that they may come to you and have life. Amen
