21 DAYS OF FASTING & PRAYER | 1–21 JUNE 2026

The Free Methodist Church of Southern Africa – Mpumalanga invites all believers to join us for 21 Days of Fasting and Prayer as we seek God’s presence, guidance and transformation.

This is a time of spiritual renewal, deeper fellowship with God and earnest prayer for our families, communities, church and nation. Let us unite in faith, trusting God to move powerfully in every area of our lives.

“But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” - Matthew 6:33

May these 21 days draw us closer to God and strengthen our commitment to His purpose.

Rev. N.J. Mashaba’s Remarks

Rev. N.J. Mashaba expressed his appreciation for the Ebenezer Circuit’s commitment, dedication, and continued service to the church over the years. In a light-hearted moment, he jokingly acknowledged that Pienaar, now known as the Gugulethu Circuit, also forms part of the church’s founding history and development.

Most importantly, Rev. Mashaba emphasised that the Free Methodist Church is founded on the principles of salvation and faith. He reminded congregants that the church’s core mission remains the preaching of repentance, holiness, and the Gospel of Jesus Christ, encouraging believers to remain steadfast in their faith and commitment to God.

He commended the church for preserving these values throughout its journey and urged members to continue building on the strong spiritual foundation laid by those who came before them.

Ebenezer Circuit Celebrates a Decade of the Ebenezer Church Structure

The Free Methodist Church of Southern Africa - Ebenezer Circuit proudly celebrated 10 years of the Ebenezer church structure, which was officially launched in 2014 following the commencement of the project in 2003.

During the celebration, Bishop S.P. Chanza took the congregation down memory lane, reflecting on the journey of faith, sacrifice and commitment that led to the completion of the church structure. He acknowledged and honoured the church pillars whose dedication and hard work played a significant role in making the project a reality.

Special appreciation was extended to Mr Samson, Mr William and Mr James, who were instrumental in supporting the project from its early stages. Now all over the age of 80, these faithful servants have dedicated many years of service to the church and continue to be a source of inspiration to the congregation.

The celebration served as a reminder of God’s faithfulness throughout the years and the importance of honouring those who have laboured selflessly for the growth and development of His church.

“Thus far the Lord has helped us.” 1 Samuel 7:12
