When God said, โLet there be lightโ, it was not the shining of the sun, the moon or the stars. This brings about more understanding of the very purpose of the light, which is being bright, or shining.
Light exposes and separates one from whatever effects of the darkness. Hence, we do not only end up in calling ourselves, the light, however, one becomes the light when there is brightness present. Remaining in the dark is by choice, because God said let there be light, brightness.
Although God covers Himself with darkness, Isaiah was able to see the train of His robe. When people draw near you, there must be improvement in their lives to show that the light has come, just like the demon possessed man who stayed in the graveyards, received his deliverance due to encountering Jesus.
When true light shines on you, one starts to discover who they really are, self-discovery. Hence, oneโs purpose as the light, it is to bring brightness to those around and the entire world in order to come out of their depression.
As light and darkness cannot mix, there is no association between the two, hence, darkness departs. Darkness never comprehended the light. Therefore, if there is comprehension, one has not reached their full capacity of brightness.
That is why Apostle Paul says, โBut now, we all ought to be teachersโ, but you continue sucking milk.
They are supposed to be bright as he was. Remember, when Moses imparted the 72 with his spirit, his light illuminated to that extent of including the two that was outside. Therefore, the purpose of the light, is not for certain people.
When you see a good deep, bare in mind that one is illuminating irrespective of one going to church, for they might have participated in one whose light reached them.
Where things are visible or maturing, light is present; but where there is immorality, there is no light, except darkness in control. That is why Apostle Paul encourages the church to put off the old man and the weight that hinders one in order to run the race, the journey.
Dress yourself with the fruits of the light, putting on the armours, for we wage war not against flesh and blood, but our battle is a spiritual warfare. We do not return evil with evil. Our kind of battle, does not promote immorality, [anger, grudges, unforgiveness, gossip and etc.], for this leads one to coming with what is contrary to joy after prayer. They hinder one from seeing Jesus.
Lack of knowledge of the things of the Lord, is one of the forms of being in darkness. Similar to Isaiah, John the Baptist, saw the great light [Jesus], the lamb. Therefore, as children of God, we have become that light that illuminates; behaving and acting like the Father.
One is still young, as they have not put off works of immorality, remaining in the dark. When the Father says, โGoโ, go for He is leading you to your brightest state. Paul says to Timothy, โTimothy my son, do not be ashamed of this gospel, so that it may expose you.โ So that our gospel may be known.
So, people who were in the darkness, saw a great light and they submitted to the light and they became the very light of the world. As they practiced, they remain in their brightest state.
Unless one practices, they are not yet in their brightest state, at their believing state, because what they are supposed to cast out, is being cast out from them. Yet, you see someone coming closer to the light daily.
Failure to practice leads one to become offended when one is raised because they chose to settle in the dark. However, those who believe, shall cast out devils, they will lay hands upon the sick and they will recover.
Therefore, put off that which makes you to be quarrelsome. Pick up the fruits of the light, in order to shine, be at your brightest state. Imitate, Sarahโs character, who called her husband [Abraham] lord and was submissive.
Let there be evident difference which will cause other people to say, โWe do not know him or her to be like this.โ This is when one has truly become the light, being obedient. Just like Moses, the meekest man ever, he represented and shined bright irrespective of what Mary and Aaron said. Moses saw the light, for one cannot write about what they have not seen or revealed unto them.
Let us become that light and reveal what was hidden in the dark. Clothe yourself with the light, and illuminate. Improve and find your purpose. At your brightest state, one becomes the very Word that penetrates, like a double edged sword as evil motives and thoughts are exposed.

โHeavenly Father, I thank you for the Word of life that I have received.โ Thank You! By Your conviction, by Your Spirit, as I open the door of my heart that, You come in, and may be able to make Your permanent dwelling in it.
Thank You, for I now recognise that I am in need of Your salvation. I say yes to Your will which is a perfect will. Thank You, for the blood of Christ that has been shed, the blood that now cleanses me, the blood that now blots out all my sins, my transgressions, and all my iniquities.
Thank You, for You remember them no more. Thank You, for writing my name in the book of life. Thank You, for you are my Lord, and personal Saviour. The old is gone, and the new has come. Thank You, as all the unrighteousness has departed, and righteousness has come upon me. Thank you Father.
Thank you for clothing me with Yourself. In the Mighty Name of our Lord Jesus Christ I pray, Amen!โ
