Today we celebrate Palm Sunday.

Palm Sunday is a Christian holiday that commemorates Jesus Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem, as described in the Bible. It falls on the Sunday before Easter Sunday and marks the beginning of Holy Week. The name "Palm Sunday" comes from the accounts in the Gospels that mention crowds of people spreading palm branches on the road as Jesus entered the city riding on a donkey. Christians observe Palm Sunday with special church services, including the blessing of palm branches and readings that recount the events of Jesus' entry into Jerusalem.
