Intercession: Minister Azizipho
The Bible reminds us in 1 Timothy 2:1: I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people.
Today, as we pray, let us open our hearts with faith and compassion, believing that God hears our prayers and that He is able to bring healing, restoration, guidance, and change.
1. Prayer for the Church and God’s people
Prayer point:Lord, strengthen Your Church and help believers walk in unity, love, truth, and faith. Give spiritual leaders wisdom and protect the Church from division and deception.
Ephesians 4:3 — “Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.”
This scripture teaches believers the importance of maintaining unity, love, and peace within the body of Christ. Paul is reminding us that unity does not happen automatically — it requires effort, humility, patience, and forgiveness from each person.
The “unity of the Spirit” means that although people may have different backgrounds, personalities, or opinions, believers are connected through their faith in God and should work together with one purpose. The “bond of peace”refers to the love and harmony that should hold people together, preventing conflict and division.
This prayer asks God to bring believers together, remove division, and help the Church remain focused on spreading God’s love and truth. It also covers pastors and leaders so they can guide people with wisdom and humility.
2. Prayer for families
