Christian Worship Centre

Christian Worship Centre Christian Worship Centre is a Cell Church of born-again believers who dedicate themselves to worshiping God, unashamedly. Xaso, T. Kutu and M. Maxhontana.

The Christian Worship Centre, otherwise known as CWC, is a faith-based organisation in the process of registering with the Department of Social Development as a Non-Profit Organisation (NPO) with interests in (1) teaching its people about the Word of God and how to apply it in their daily lives to achieve balance, (2) spreading the Good News and message of salvation and (3) social development. The

Church was founded in 2001 by Pastors M. Ps Maxhontana has since left. The Church is currently led by Ps Xaso, Chairperson and Senior Pastor, and his wife, Mrs T Xaso. They are ably assisted by an Eldership Forum, the membership of which is diverse with the inclusion of some of the ordained Pastors of the Church and others, who, in the collective, exercise spiritual oversight over the Church and its activities. The Church is a Cell Church, with members of the Church meeting weekly (during weekdays) in home cells to reflect on the Word, share and empower each other. This is in addition to participating in Sunday Church Service. This helps prepare believers for Ministry. We meet at the following times:

Mon – Thur 6:00pm to 7:30pm (at different Home-Cell locations)
Friday 6:00pm to 8:00pm (Prayer & Bible Study Meetings)
Sunday 9:30am to 12:30pm

at its two branches in Khayelitsha (main branch) and in Mfuleni, with a third branch soon to be launched in the Northern Suburbs. The Church caters for all age and gender groups, with its different Ministries [married couples, men, mothers (i.e. senior and/or married women), single parents, single ladies (i.e. all non-married adult females), Sunday school, teenagers and youth (i.e. all single young adults between 21 and 35)]. This is where group-specific matters are taken care of and individuals are assisted with issues specific either to their age group or gender group. For directions to our main branch, please go to:
