What a powerful and awakening message! Today, we were reminded that patience truly is a virtue. Lady Pastor Nana Akua Essien preached a message titled " The Power that patience releases"

Patience is the ability to wait without getting frustrated. It is a great spiritual force which releases great power. James 5:8 The lack of patience causes a lot of chaos and the presence of it brings great victory and blessings

Three reasons why we need patience;

1. Patience causes us to see the manifestations of God in our lives.
Impatience rather brings us more problems .

2. Patience causes us to receive precious fruits. To receive a precious anointing, you need patience. They that wait on the lord shall renew their strength. To have a good husband or wife you need patience . And to have a good marriage requires patience as well. Shepherds need a lot of patience in nurturing their sheep until they grow and become established in the Lord. Having a mega buscell or mega church requires prayer, hard work as well as patience.
James 5:7
Hebrews 6:15
Psalm 40:1

3. We must be patient because our heavenly father is patient too. The child of a lion is a lion and the child of an elephant is an elephant. Therefore if we are children of God, we must strive to be like him.
Romans 15:5

Beloved, the ministry of waiting and patience has disappeared in the church today. But it must return. Though the vision tarry......... which means sometimes things will seem delayed in our lives. He makes all things beautiful in HIS time ( not our time )
We have need of patience because the patient will never be ashamed. What has God said to you ? What promises or prophecies have gone over you ? Only stand still and wait on Him. Through patience, you will inherit the promise.

Join us next week for another anointed word .
Shalom!

Easter Convention Day 2 - The Symbols of the Cross

Lady Pastor Nana Akua Essien

Message: The Cross of Jesus; the greatest Symbol of obedience (Phil. 2:8)

What an AWESOME night and flesh-rebuking message; LP taught us about obedience! In your walk with God can you honestly say you have always obeyed God? In the spirit realm can you pinpoint where you are spiritually?

Many of us are Christians in the House of God, but we willfully disobey him more than unbelievers - we are spiritual rebels! Even when we make the 'effort' to obey; our obedience is only partial. Yet Jesus' obedience was to the point of death, even death on the cross.

Disobedience is very dangerous but subtle and can sometimes have very severe consequences.

1. It is very important to obey the Word of God and the Voice of God! When we willfully disobey the Word and the Voice of God we can easily find ourselves rejected by God - 1 Sam. 15:22-23,25,26.

2. Authority - make a conscious effort to obey authorities that God has put in place. Heads of State, fathers and husbands - 1 Pet. 3:1; Eph. 6:2.

3. Those in authority over our souls . Pastors and or Shepherds - Heb. 13:17

Beloved,to what extent is your obedience? After everything Jesus did for you will you willfully disobey God and neglect so great a salvation? Join us again this afternoon at 15:00pm at Cpt Church (CPUT HALL) for more of this oiled message! Shalom

Easter Convention Day 1 - The Symbols of the Cross

Lady Pastor Nana Akua Essien

Message - Death (Heb. 2:9, Luke 9:23)

Convention day 1 started off with a powerful and soul searching message! What does the Cross of Jesus Christ mean to you as a Christian? Are there things in your life that need to be removed for you to move to the next level in God?

Using practical examples of daily living Lady Pastor showed us why death, though painful is the main component of the Cross! Death to flesh, carnality, ambition, etc and allowing Christ to live in us.

Many of us have experienced pain and suffering unnecessarily simply because we are 'too alive'. Our refusal to die to self is the main reason for many of humanity's greatest woes; i.e. broken families, drug and alcohol abuse and many others. Our inability to die to self has made the promises of God seemingly ineffective!

Even Jesus, the Son of God had to die to receive the Name above every other name and the privilege to sit at the right hand of God! Paul, the persecutor of the brethren realised that for him to have eternal life he had to die to self first (2 Cor. 5:21).

What many of us don't understand is that eventually everyone on earth whether we like it or not will have to bow before Jesus and confess that He is Lord, but the blessings that come with recognising Him as such are only for those who do it now without being compelled!

Brethren it is time to put aside pride, selfish ambition take up the Cross of Jesus Christ and allow God to live His will through us. It is time to die to self, submit now and live a joyous life in God! Jesus left all and came to die because He knew that without death there can be no glory (Mark 10:29-30)!

Join us tomorrow at 6pm for the encore of this life transforming message and may God do a new thing in your life as you come! Shalom!

Message : Eunuchs in the palace

Foundational scripture - Isaiah 39:1-8

Being an eu**ch is a very severe punishment given to the people of God. It has been a practice for years all over the world to turn people to eu**chs. They ranked very low on the social ladder and were normally put in charge of women; to bath and take care of them. They couldn't have children, ambitions and projections.

Many of us, though in the House of God (in the Palace of King Jesus) are spiritual, financial and academic eu**chs (very unproductive in these areas).

How do you escape being an eu**ch in the palace?

The master key to overcoming being an eu**ch is knowledge. Knowledge benefits you only when you rightly apply it (Hos. 4:6). When you receive knowledge that no one has you receive fruits that no one has. When knowledge comes our way we must respect and not despise it

God expects us to bear fruits after a time of being saved and being in His house (Is. 5:1-10). May he never be disappointed when He comes looking for fruits in our lives! You shall never be an eu**ch in the name of Jesus!!!Join us next Sunday for a spirit filled and mind transforming time in the presence of the Lord. Shalom!!
