How do I prepare for Sunday?

What a joy that we can begin preparing our hearts for this coming Sunday as we worship the LORD together as his people.

Psalm 100:2 says, “Serve the LORD with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.”

Here are a few simple ways you can prepare for Sunday's service:

📖 Read the passage. This Sunday we’ll be in Joshua 11. Take some time to read the chapter and consider what it teaches us about the riveting sovereignty of God against overwhelming opposition.

🎶 Listen to the songs. Take some time to listen through Sunday’s worship playlist. Let your children hear the songs too, and get the whole family excited to sing together with God’s people.

🙏 Pray. Ask the Lord to prepare your heart to worship, to hear His Word, and to encourage His people.

Have you heard about J-way? Every Friday night, J-Way, our junior youth ministry, meets at the church. This is a place for children aged 6–12 to learn about the Lord, worship him, have fun, build friendships, and grow in their faith.

We’re thankful for everyone who serves in this ministry and for the opportunity to invest in the next generation.

How can you trust God when you can't see what he is doing?

Look to His character. He keeps His Word. He finishes what He begins.

What a Sunday!

We had nearly a full house as we gathered for worship. The congregational singing was joyful and we heard God's Word preached from Joshua 10. We Also had the special joy and privilege of inducting Richard Raphael as an Elder.

What a privilege to gather together as Christ’s church!

Christ is building His church.

Faithful together for the next 50.

Yesterday we looked at Joshua 10 where we were reminded that our confidence isn’t found in our strength, but in the God who fights for His people. This gives us the confidence to rest, trust and obey.

HOW DO I PREPARE FOR SUNDAY?
