Fear is not your companion. It's an intruder.

That's the heart of this morning's message, "Do Not Fear." We walked through the story of Job, a man who lost everything the moment he agreed with the fear in his mind, a reminder that what you fear starts as a picture you accept, not a fact you're stuck with.

"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind." 2 Timothy 1:7. That's already yours. ✨

We also unpacked the word peace this morning. In the original language it means far more than calm, it's tranquility, safety, security, prosperity. Jesus already gave you that peace, John 14:27, so you're not waiting on it, you're walking in it. 🙌

What an incredible day we had at our very first here in Kathu! 👟 With over 100 people in attendance, we came together to run for a cause much bigger than ourselves. 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

A massive THANK YOU to all our volunteers, sponsors, supporters, runners, and everyone who played a part in making the day such a great success! 🙌❤️

This run supported personalised after-school AI education designed to boost children’s learning and academic growth. 📚💡

And the impact doesn’t stop at the finish line! 🏁

The funds raised through RUN FOR ME will go directly towards this initiative, helping give children the tools, support, and opportunities they need to grow, learn, and reach their full potential. 🌟

Every step, every contribution, and every person who showed up helped us move closer to a brighter future for our children.

Together, we will continue to invade our world with the unconditional love of God!🔴🔵

Faith is believing and speaking.

This week we learned that faith isn't just a definition you memorize from Hebrews 11. It's an action. It's believing God and then speaking to the mountains in your way, whatever stands between you and what He's called you to be. Don't draw back. Keep persisting. Your foundation matters more than you know. When God's foundations are solid in your life, you become someone who actually makes a difference.

You are sealed by His Spirit, anointed for purpose, and sent into your time for a reason. Whether you're raising children, building something that takes years to see, or standing alone in a journey, this is your season. Speak it. Believe it. Keep walking. 🙏

Without faith, it is impossible to please God.

It's impossible!

This morning, Pastor Martin took us into "We Walk by Faith," Part 2. And what became clear is that faith isn't a feeling or an emotion you chase on a good Sunday. Faith is a decision. It's the way you live. You make a decision to trust God instead of your circumstances, your fears, your emotions. You decide to walk by faith.

God has given you a measure of faith already. If you're born again, don't pray for more. You have it. What matters is how you use it. Every decision, every day, every direction, you're either walking by faith or you're not. You can't be faithful Monday and faithless Tuesday. It's the manner of life. It's your anchor.

You don't need to see the whole path. You don't need to feel ready. Faith means trusting God's direction even when the outcome isn't clear yet. That's when His hand is upon you. That's when He can provide, protect, and lead. 🙏

We were reminded us that this whole church is the work of faith, and your faith matters in what God is doing here. Join us at the 18:00 service tonight to worship and take your place in what God is building. See you then! ✨

"We walk by faith, not by sight"

This morning, Pastor Martin unpacked what faith actually is, because many people preach it without truly living it. Faith is not a feeling. It's not emotion or attitude. Faith is a substance, a trust in God's Word that you must already possess to move forward in His kingdom. 🙏

When God calls you to something, He doesn't equip you with all the answers first. Pastor Martin was called at 50 years old to plant a church with no finances, no plan, and no guarantee except God's promise. That's faith. It's believing and speaking what God says over your life, even when your circumstances say otherwise.

Like a farmer sowing seeds, you must expect your harvest. You must speak it. You must develop your faith like a muscle, not a feeling that comes and goes. Don't be a halfway Christian, wavering between what God says and what you see. Believe the Word and follow after God. ✨

Your mind can stop you from doing great things for God 🧠

This morning Pastor Martin preached "Battle for the Mind," and it was simple, whatever you let take root in your thoughts is what grows in your life. Every stronghold starts as a thought you water instead of casting down.

"We bring every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." 2 Corinthians 10:5

He walked through Naaman's story in 2 Kings 5, a man who nearly missed his healing because he argued with God's instructions instead of staying teachable. Stay proud and you stay stuck, stay teachable and everything changes.

You're not fighting people, you're fighting what's trying to occupy your mind, so know God's Word well enough to recognise His voice and cast the rest down 💪

Today, the women of CRC Kathu filled the hall for a whole morning of prayer. 🙌

Working through Isaiah 54, they prayed for what still feels barren to become fruitful, for shame and rejection to be replaced with healing, for hearts and homes still being rebuilt to find peace.

There was laughter, there were tears, sometimes in the same hour, and the kind of honesty that only happens when women stop performing and just come as they are.

This is what Women's Month looks like at CRC Kathu, not a program, but a room full of women choosing, together, to believe again. 💛
