Nkosi ndithembe wena mandingaze ndidaniswe❤️🙏🏾

In the rhythm of the week, amidst its demands and distractions, the Church pauses to lift its voice in praise. The words of the Te Deum are more than a hymn of thanksgiving, they are a declaration of who God is and a reminder of who we are in Him.

As Methodists, we stand in a rich tradition that boldly proclaims the glory of God, the victory of Christ, and the enduring presence of the Holy Spirit. Through every season, God remains worthy of praise.

This midweek, let us be reassured that the God we worship is the God who sustains, strengthens, and goes before us. Our praise is not dependent on circumstances; it is rooted in the faithfulness of the One whom the whole Church, on earth and in heaven, continually adores.

Word of the Day

“Buleleni kuYehova, kuba elungile.”
(Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good.)

Today’s word comes from Xhosa Hymn 11. It reminds us that God is forever faithful. Through every season, His mercy endures and His goodness never fails.

No matter what challenges we face, we have a reason to be grateful. Let us continually thank God for His love, grace, protection, and countless mercies that are new every morning.

As this blessed Sunday draws to a close, our hearts remain filled with gratitude and praise. We thank God for His faithfulness, His presence, and His sustaining grace throughout the day.

"Njengendluzele ilangazelela amanzi emifula, kanjalo umphefumulo wami ulangazelela wena Nkulunkulu. Umphefumulo wami womela uNkulunkulu, uNkulunkulu ophilayo” (AmaHubo 42:1–2)

May we never lose our thirst for the presence of God. May our hearts continue to seek Him, not only in moments of worship, but in every step of our journey.

Word of the Day

Today’s reflection is led by the Circuit Local Preachers Association Vice President, Mr S. Mnukwa, drawing from the Day of Pentecost and the Aldersgate experience of John Wesley.

A reminder that faith is not merely inherited or observed, but encountered personally and lived wholeheartedly. The Aldersgate experience calls us back to a faith that is awakened, assured, and set ablaze by the presence of God.

As Wesley declared that his “heart was strangely warmed,” we too are reminded that transformation begins when the Spirit moves beyond routine and becomes real within us.

Motivation Monday

At the start of a new week we are reminded through this worship of Matthew 11: 28-30 -
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and I will find rest for your souls. For my oke is easy and by burden is light.”

We are reminded that indeed Joko ea hae e bobebe❤️✨

Wishing you a blessed Christ-filled week🙏🏾
