𝗔 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗢𝗣𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗧𝗬 - 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧. 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲

Spring is a season of renewal, regrowth and refreshing. It presents us with new opportunities and it brings hope, courage and resilience.
In His time, God makes all things beautiful. God is timeless. He is in charge of time.
Time is a sequence of purposeful seasons. Be encouraged from scripture as you walk into God's Kairos time, your appointed season of opportunities.

31 𝘐𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘭𝘺 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘩𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮. “𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘰𝘧 𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩,” 𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥, “𝘸𝘩𝘺 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘥𝘰𝘶𝘣𝘵?”

The above narrative is about Peter's request and Jesus's response. In the midst of the storm, Peter requests that if it is Jesus walking on the water, that the Lord should bid him to come.

The key word in this text is 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘. This word indicates God reaching out to humanity. It is a personal invitation. It is a verb.
In the New Testament, the word come means to start a journey. To set out.
In the Old Testament, the word come means to enter with a purpose.

Come also relates to Jesus quenching the thirst of those who come to Him,
𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 7:37 - 𝘪𝘧 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘮 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘥𝘳𝘪𝘯𝘬
In Matthew's gospel, it relates to rest: 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦 𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘷𝘺 𝘭𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵.
Revelation - the final invitation - to the tree water of life.

𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘 is an invitation to all - call on me everyone!
Peter stepped out of the boat. When he was in trouble, he cried out to God.
He wants to lift us up in our time of need.

The application of this story is 5-fold
1. Jesus brings you through the storms of life.
2. Jesus is interceding for you.
3. He will come to you walking on the water.
4. He will help you - Jesus is a very present help in times of trouble.
5. He will see you through.

In the words of the songwriter, Come unto Jesus, give Him your heart today. Come unto Jesus, let Him have His way.

𝗠𝗢𝗨𝗡𝗧 𝗨𝗣 𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗥𝗔𝗬𝗘𝗥 - 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧. 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲

Prayer is central to the life of a believer. It is communication with God. In all circumstances, we are encouraged to continue steadfastly in prayer. Prayer helps us to build capacity.

• Hannah prayed fervently and God answered her prayer by blessing
her with a son named Samuel.
• Daniel prayed fervently and was delivered from the lion's den.
• Abraham is also an example of persistent prayer.

God's word inspires us on having a strong prayer life:
𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘢𝘯𝘴 4:2
𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘰𝘵𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦𝘭𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘳𝘢𝘺𝘦𝘳, 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘢𝘵𝘤𝘩𝘧𝘶𝘭 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘬𝘧𝘶𝘭.

Renewal and refreshment through prayer is often linked with the eagle.

𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘢𝘩 40:31
𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘩𝘰𝘱𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘨𝘵𝘩. 𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘰𝘢𝘳 𝘰𝘯 𝘸𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘨𝘭𝘦𝘴; 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘳𝘶𝘯 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘨𝘳𝘰𝘸 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘺, 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘢𝘭𝘬 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘵.

There are 3 important characteristics of the eagle that inspire our prayer life:

1. The eagle uses the storm to increase its height - in your times of storm, mount higher into prayer.
2. The eagle uses the storm to cleanse its feathers. Sanctification is progressive. The storms are for your cleaning and renewal.
3. The eagle uses the storm to rest. When you grow tired and weary, rest in the shelter of God's grace.

𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘴𝘧𝘪𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 𝘪𝘴 𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘸𝘦𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘢𝘨𝘭𝘦’𝘴.

We are encouraged to mount up like an eagle in our prayer life

𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘐𝘴𝘳𝘢𝘦𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘶𝘱 𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 𝘌𝘨𝘺𝘱𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦.

The book of Exodus consists of 40 chapters. The main themes in this book are freedom, deliverance and dwelling. It took 40 years for the Israelites to sojourn through the wilderness and then enter the promised land.

There are 3 important touch points in the Exodus experience:
- 𝗥𝗲𝗱𝗲𝗺𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
- 𝗖𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁
- 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽

Their deliverance speaks of transformation and transitioning.
God promised them freedom while they were slaves, while they faced bo***ge, hardship and great difficulties.
God worked with this nation for 40 years before He set them free.
The manna God provided was for the wilderness not for the promised land.
In the promised land, God wanted them to pursue the things that He ordained for them.

There are 5 qualities to maintain your freedom
𝟭. 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲
𝟮. 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆
𝟯. 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
𝟰. 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
𝟱. 𝗖𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆

These 5 qualities will hold your freedom together. The Israelites had a long journey to freedom. It did not come easy.

In the same way, Jesus gave his life for our freedom.
It cost Christ the cross.
It was a long road. It was a hard road.
The promise of freedom demands preparation.
Let's value our freedom. Even if you call yourself free, memory is more powerful. It can chain you. Do not be bound by the things of the past.

𝗙𝗘𝗔𝗥𝗟𝗘𝗦𝗦 𝗙𝗔𝗜𝗧𝗛 - 𝗗𝗿 𝗥𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲

𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 15:28
𝘛𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘑𝘦𝘴𝘶𝘴 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘰 𝘩𝘦𝘳, “𝘞𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯, 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘧𝘢𝘪𝘵𝘩! 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘥.” 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘥𝘢𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘩𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘥 𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵.

On this day, as we obverse National Women's Day, we are reminded of the 20 000 women who in 1956, marched to resist pass laws imposed on women of colour. They were fearless and courageous women

Matthew's Gospel, chapter 28 reminds us of a woman who demonstrated 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵. She was a Canaanite woman who pleaded with Jesus to heal her daughter. Initially it seemed that Jesus was not going to grant her request. He did not say a word to her and later in the conversation, 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴, “𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘭𝘰𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘩𝘦𝘦𝘱 𝘰𝘧 𝘐𝘴𝘳𝘢𝘦𝘭.” (𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘦 24).

The disciples considered her to be a nuisance and asked Jesus to send her away, but she kept pleading with Jesus to have mercy on her and heal her daughter. She demonstrated fearless faith.

Here are some important lessons that we learn from this Canaanite woman:

𝟭. 𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 - this woman's faith was deeply tested. Even when Jesus remained silent, even when the conversation with Jesus became uncomfortable, even when the disciples asked Jesus to send her away, she did not become discouraged but stood the test of time.

𝟮. 𝗔 𝗧𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 - her faith remained firm and was not shaken. All she wanted was for Jesus to heal her daughter, and she was determined to hold on until she received her answer. She did not give up in the face of adversity.

𝟯. 𝗔 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 - as the conversation progressed, the woman expressed that even the crumbs that fall from the Master's table will be more than enough. His grace is sufficient. He is a more than enough God. She did not want much, and was thankful for the little that she received.

𝟰. 𝗔 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵 - the story concludes with Jesus commending the Canaanite for her great faith. Because of her great faith, her request was granted and her daughter was healed.

We are encouraged by this woman of great faith. When the heavens seem silent, when the negative voices rage against you, when it feels like there is no way out, remain resilient and exercise 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵.

𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗦𝗘𝗔𝗦𝗢𝗡 𝗢𝗙 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗛 - 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧. 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲

The month of August is named after Augustus Caesar in honour of his triumphs. August symbolises majestic and it means '𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲'.
August is often associated with abundance, harvest, and‍ fruition in both agricultural and ‌spiritual contexts. Throughout the Bible, there are numerous instances where God's provision and blessings are manifested during this time, signifying abundance and blessings.

August is a month of achievement, accomplishment, access and excellence.
It is a season of 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵! God leads us into victory, causing us to triumph over every situation that seeks to bring us down.

There are a few scripture that encourage us as we step into 𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵:

𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘢𝘩 50:4 - 𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘚𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘦𝘪𝘨𝘯 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘦𝘯 𝘮𝘦 𝘢 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭-𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨𝘶𝘦, 𝘵𝘰 𝘬𝘯𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘶𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘸𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘺. 𝘏𝘦 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘮𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘣𝘺 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨, 𝘸𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘯𝘴 𝘮𝘺 𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘵𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘦𝘥.

God is preparing you for𝗮 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵.
-Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow. They are an example of triumph.
-David fought Goliath. He refused to be intimidated by a giant. Confront your giants. He triumphed!
-Moses was called by God and had a burning bush experience. God demonstrated his power to Moses as the children of Israel walked through the red sea. He was an example of triumph.

You too can triumph through prayer. Trust in the Lord and allow the month of August to offer you a fresh start in this 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘂𝗺𝗽𝗵.

15 𝘏𝘦 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥: “𝘓𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯, 𝘒𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘑𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘸𝘩𝘰 𝘭𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘪𝘯 𝘑𝘶𝘥𝘢𝘩 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘑𝘦𝘳𝘶𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘦𝘮! 𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘴𝘢𝘺𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘺𝘰𝘶: ‘𝘋𝘰 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘣𝘦 𝘢𝘧𝘳𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘴𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘢𝘨𝘦𝘥 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘷𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘮𝘺. 𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘣𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘪𝘴 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘴, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘎𝘰𝘥’𝘴.

Jehoshaphat was a ruler for 25 years.
He was a reformer and a devout leader. Chapter 20 narrates the story of a vast army from Edom coming up against Jehoshaphat. The people of Judah came together to seek help from God, and the Lord mightily used Jehoshaphat when forces of the army arose.
In the face of adversity, Jehoshaphat remained calm. He proclaimed a fast and they he prayed.

Prayer and fasting go together.

When we find ourselves in a season of battle, fast and pray and the Lord will give us victory.
There are 4 key thoughts from this narrative:
1. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗯𝗹𝗲𝗺 - the army of Edom rose against Judah.
2. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗿𝗲 - Jehoshaphat called the people to fast and pray.
3. 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 - God gave Jehoshaphat the order that the battle is not his, but it is the Lord's.
4. 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝗶𝘀𝗲 - the singers were placed in front of the army and they began to sing praises.

This was a combined effort. Let the singers go in front of the army and sing a victory song.
There is power in praise! Singing a song of praise confuses the enemy.
God showed up when they began to praise. Your enemies are defeated. God will give you a new song to sing.

There are 2 other characters in the Old Testament that went through a season of battle, namely:
1. Joshua - in his season of battle, he raised a memorial which was a stone of remembrance. Joshua used this miracle as a witness of faith. He called them stones of remembrance. Build a memorial to reflect on what God has done.

2. Job - He is a symbol of endurance.
His life was marked by failure, loss and death, but he endured every test of time. He rested in God.

Never give up! 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱'𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀.

𝗝𝗢𝗬 𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗘𝗦 𝗜𝗡 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗠𝗢𝗥𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 - 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧. 𝗦. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲

𝘗𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘮 30:5
𝘍𝘰𝘳 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘰𝘯𝘭𝘺 𝘢 𝘮𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵, 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳 𝘭𝘢𝘴𝘵𝘴 𝘢 𝘭𝘪𝘧𝘦𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦;
𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘱𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵,
𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘳𝘦𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘤𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘦𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘳𝘯𝘪𝘯𝘨.

This text offers a firm reminder about a few matters:
1. God's anger lasts only for a short while.
2. His favour lasts a life time.
3. Weeping may stay for the night.
4. But 𝗷𝗼𝘆 comes in the morning.

Facing a night season is an important part of the journey.
- Job faced a night season
- David faced a night season
- Daniel faced a night season
- Paul faced a night season

But the night has an expiry date. The night will come to an end.
In Genesis 28, we see that Jacob encountered God as the day was breaking. His night season was hard, with many challenges, as he lay his head on a stone, but that was not his place of permanence.
God will end the night season.

𝘋𝘦𝘶𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘰𝘮𝘺 23:5 - 𝘏𝘰𝘸𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘸𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘯 𝘵𝘰 𝘉𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘢𝘮 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘶𝘳𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘵𝘰 𝘢 𝘣𝘭𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘺𝘰𝘶, 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘓𝘰𝘳𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘎𝘰𝘥 𝘭𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘴 𝘺𝘰𝘶.

You have the assurance that every arrow directed towards you will be reversed in Jesus name.
The arrow of delay, discouragement and difficulties will be reversed in Jesus name. Calvary reversed the curse.

𝘗𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘮 121:6
𝘛𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘶𝘯 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘣𝘺 𝘥𝘢𝘺, 𝘯𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘰𝘰𝘯 𝘣𝘺 𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵.

The morning is breaking for you. Jesus comes to us, showing us favour. Believe God for the morning season. Your season of challenges has an expiry date. 𝗝𝗼𝘆 comes in the morning! ☀

The name Levi means "𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘦𝘥". He was the third son of Jacob and Leah.
Levi's legacy became linked with divine connection.
Israel consisted of 12 tribes. All tribes were given provincial land, with the exception of the tribe of Levi.
The family heads of the tribe of Levi approached Joshua and Eleazar, the Priest to inquire about this.

They met at a place called Shiloh which is a biblical land and it means "𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘪𝘧𝘵". Jesus is God's gift to the world. We share a joint connection with God through the work of Christ on the cross.
The narrative tells that the Lord's commandment was that the tribe of Levi receive their inheritance. They inherited 48 cities and 6 of these were cities of refuge.
They were given cities for three reasons:
𝟭. 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻
𝟮. 𝗥𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲
𝟯. 𝗝𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀

The Levites reclaimed what belonged to them.
They were a people of Prayer.
They reclaimed their Position.
They experienced God's Providence.
They had a new Perspective.

This story concludes with three affirmations:
𝟭. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁.
𝟮. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱.
𝟯. 𝗚𝗼𝗱'𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗱. 𝗛𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗚𝗼𝗱.

Levi means 𝘫𝘰𝘪𝘯. God is joining us to spiritual things.
The church is a place of refuge.
We all come just as we are with our imperfections and blemishes, with our illness, our anxieties and we take refuge in the presence of God. We celebrate the connection we share as the body of Christ.
