WHAT IS THE USE OF BEING FAMOUS ON EARTH IF HEAVEN DOESN’T KNOW YOUR NAME?

We can spend our whole lives chasing recognition—building a name, gaining followers, collecting wealth, seeking applause, and trying to prove our worth to the world. But there will come a day when none of those things can follow us beyond this life.

The world may remember your achievements for a moment, but eternity is not impressed by popularity, possessions, or status. What truly matters is the life you lived before God, the love you showed, the people you helped, the truth you stood for, and the faith you carried when nobody was watching.

Earthly fame is temporary. Eternity is forever.

So don’t spend your life trying only to become known by people. Spend it becoming known by God. Let your character speak louder than your reputation. Let your kindness outlive your accomplishments. Let your faith be stronger than your desire for applause.

One day, the lights of this world will fade, the crowds will disappear, and our earthly names will no longer matter the way we thought they did.

The greatest achievement is not to be famous on earth—it is to live a life worthy of being remembered in heaven.

Choose purpose over popularity.
Choose faith over fame.
Choose righteousness over recognition.
Choose God over the applause of the world.

Because when this life is over, the most important question is not, “Did the world know my name?” but, “Did I live for God?”

He thought he had been forgotten… but God still had a place for him.

Mephibosheth had lived through loss and uncertainty, believing his story had been forgotten.

But David called for him and gave him a place at the king’s table.

Maybe you feel forgotten right now. Maybe life has left you wondering if God still remembers you.

The Lord has not forgotten you. He will make a way.

Mense leef asof Jesus nie saakmaak nie, maar eendag gaan Jesus al 1 wees wat gaan saakmaak. Sonder Jesus gaan ons dit nie maak nie. Mense sê wat hulle wil sê, hulle doen wat hulle wil doen en hulle gaan waar hulle wil gaan. Niks behoort aan ons nie selfs nie hierdie Tempels waarin ons leef nie. Eendag gaan ons vir als verantwoording moet doen Goed en Sleg 🙏

As ons net weer op hierdie Punt kan kom om die Aangesig van die Here te soek. Waar is die Dae waar die Gebede wat opgegaan het voor ʼn Diens soos bye geklink het. Ons het nog die kans en die geleentheid om die aangesig van die Here te soek. Koop die Tyd uit saam met Hom 🙏

DIE KONING KOM!

Die dood is seker, maar die wederkoms van Jesus Christus is net so seker. Daarom roep God ons om gereed te wees.

Môre is aan niemand belowe nie, en niemand weet die tyd of uur van Sy koms nie, maar sleg die Vader.

Moenie wag totdat dit te laat is nie, maar laat toe dat Hy jou verander. Hy is die Een wat jou vergewe, herstel en nuut maak.

Moenie wag totdat dit te laat is nie, want die dood vra nie wanneer jy gereed is nie. Gee vandag nog jou hart vir Jesus, en wees gereed, want môre kan dit te laat wees.

Have you noticed how easy it is for conversations to revolve around someone who is not in the room?

We laugh.
We speculate.
We share things we "just heard."

And before we know it, someone else's reputation has become our entertainment.

Gossip creates the illusion of connection.

It makes us feel close because we share the same opinion or dislike the same person.

But relationships built on gossip are never built on trust.

The same mouth that talks about others to you will eventually talk about you to others.

A perverse person stirs up conflict, and a gossip separates close friends.
Proverbs 16:28

As followers of Christ, we are called to build people up, not tear them down.

That does not mean we ignore sin or avoid difficult conversations.

There is a place for loving correction.

But there is a difference between confronting someone to restore them and talking about them to entertain ourselves.

Before sharing someone's story, ask yourself:

Is it true?
Is it necessary?
Is it loving?

If the person were sitting beside you, would you still say the same thing?
Choose conversations that inspire growth instead of feeding curiosity.
Because the strongest friendships are not built by talking about people.

They are built by encouraging one another to become more like Christ.
