Title: Roots & Wings – The Divine Design for Every Generation*
Text: Deut 6:6-7, Psalm 78:4-7, 1 Tim 4:12, Eph 6:4

*Fact 1: “Don’t let anyone despise your youth” – 1 Tim 4:12*
Paul lists 5 arenas where youth must be examples: _logos_ = speech, _anastrophe_ = conduct,
_agape_ = love, _pistis_ = faith, _hagneia_ = purity. That’s your whole life covered. Fact: If you’re
faithful in those 5, age becomes irrelevant.
*Fact 2: “Remember your Creator in days of youth” – Eccl 12:1*
Solomon contrasts “days of youth” vs “evil days” = days of cynicism, regret, compromise. Statistic,
80% of people who become lifelong Christ-followers make that decision before age 18. Roots are
planted early.

*3 expanded truths for youth:*
1. *Called now*: Jeremiah 1:7 “I’m sending you.” Hebrew grammar = present continuous. God isn’t
waiting for your degree. Assignment starts at salvation.
2. Rooted not drifted: Psalm 1:3. Hebrew “planted” transplanted intentionally by
gardener. You don’t drift into roots. You’re planted by Word, prayer, community. Hebrews 10:25
“not neglecting gathering” is a command, not suggestion.
3. Courage over comfort: Daniel 1:8 “purposed in his heart.” fixed,
determined. Courage is pre-decided conviction before pressure hits. “Faith over likes” = Acts 5:29
“We must obey God rather than men.”
*Application question* Which of Paul’s 5 areas – speech, conduct, love, faith, purity – is God
calling you to be undeniable in this season?

Where you see a seed then the devil sees an opportunity to harvest..

You see potential planting the devil sees it too ,but he is not watching to protect ,he is watching to reap ,the thieves do not break into an empty warehouse. If the enemy is planning to harvest it means your seed matters the devil is aware of the seed that you carry and what it can produce that is the reason I say where there is a seed the devil sees as an opportunity to harvest .

Amo 3:5
Does a bird ever get caught in a trap that has no bait? Does a trap spring shut when there’s nothing to catch?

No It does not , the devil doesn't go after a seed which doesn't carry value or purpose reason the devil attack your prayer life ,your spiritual growth and your faith it is because they have purpose and he sees how unstoppable you will become the moment he catch you lacking he will plant doubts and fear in your life to destruct you

Matthew 13:25-26

But that night as the workers slept, his enemy came and planted weeds among the wheat, then slipped away. [26] When the crop began to grow and produce grain, the weeds also grew.

When you don't take good care of your seed the devil will see a great opportunity to come and plant destruction in your life in order to hinder you from seeing what kind of seed you carry and what your seed will produce.

In conclusion keep your roots deep in him and build lives in him and become stronger in faith as we were taught and still being taught.

Purpose of the day

June 16 is known for the youth fighting for their freedom. As for today youth we must learn from those who fought for us. We may still be young but Christianity has no age that says you can now be born again. As the youth we must ask ourselves what is our purpose on this earth

1 Timothy 3:12

Without the youth in church, there's no church. There will be troubles and tribulations and tell God that without him you are nothing. Let us be the youth who know what we want. The action that was taken by the youth in 1976 shook the world as they knew what they wanted. Know your purpose.

When one is correctly spiritually positioned they start to ascend closer to God.

John 17:19

This prayer is ushered by priesthood. The Bible says God created women from men. When Eve was created she didn't amaze Adam. If you don't have burdens your life will become prayers especially as Christians. Burdens fuel our prayer lives.
Jeremiah said I am a child but we are not children in this kingdom we are kingdom representatives. We must enlist ourselves as intercessors.Enlist yourself unto him.
