As we celebrate the joy of Easter, we give thanks for a truly meaningful and grace-filled Holy Week at St Michael’s. From reflective moments to shared worship, it has been a week full of prayer, preparation, and community.

A heartfelt thank you to all our service teams for their time, dedication, and acts of service throughout the week, and to everyone who attended and supported the various services and gatherings. We hope that this journey through Holy Week has been as special and enriching for you as it has been for us.

🍼💛 Supporting Project: Baby Washing 💛🍼

As a church, we would love to support this beautiful initiative by Parkridge – Helping Those in Need, which seeks to restore dignity, care, and love to mothers and their little ones.

We invite our parish family to to consider contributing by donating 𝙩𝙤𝙞𝙡𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙗𝙖𝙗𝙮 𝙘𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙞𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 such as soap, shampoo, wet wipes, baby products, and other essentials listed in the poster.

🕊 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙣 𝙗𝙚 𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙥𝙥𝙚𝙙 𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙘𝙝𝙪𝙧𝙘𝙝 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙗𝙮 𝙒𝙚𝙙𝙣𝙚𝙨𝙙𝙖𝙮 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙬𝙚𝙚𝙠.

🌸 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐚𝐭 𝐒𝐭 𝐌𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐞𝐥 & 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬 🌸

This morning we celebrated 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲, giving thanks for all the mothers, grandmothers, and motherly figures who nurture, guide, and care for us in so many ways.

Our 𝐉𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐜𝐡 shared in this special tradition by presenting posies of flowers to the ladies of the parish — a small sign of love and gratitude that reminds us of the long tradition of “going a-mothering” on this day.

We give thanks for the many women who enrich our lives and our church family. Happy Mothering Sunday to all! 💐

🥞✨ Shrove Tuesday Pancake Evening ✨🥞

This past Tuesday we gathered for a wonderful Shrove Tuesday social — sharing laughs, stories, and of course plenty of delicious pancakes!

At one point we even wondered if we might need the miracle of the loaves and fishes to multiply the pancakes for everyone 😄 — but thankfully there was just enough to go around!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support the evening and enjoy time together. It was such a joy to share fellowship around the table as we prepare for the Lent season ahead. 💛

This year marks the start of Vision 2028 at St. Michael’s. We are entering a season of deep spiritual growth and personal empowerment.

If you remember only one word this year, let it be: CRUCIFORMITY— placing the Cross at the center of our lives. It’s about being marked by His love and claimed as His own, letting Him renew our strength and energize our imaginations.

The Mission:

3. Missional Growth: Taking His love into the world.

Join us each Sunday as we renew our promises and find our first love for Christ all over again.
