Saturday was silent.

Today, a tomb holds Him
who holds creation in the hollow of His hand.

A stone seals Him
who wrapped the heavens in glory.

Life lies still-
yet hell trembles.

And in the quiet,
in the stillness,
in the hidden mystery-

chains are breaking.
captives are waking.

For by the will of the Father,
the earth that was formed
could never contain
the One who spoke it into being.

This silence is not empty-
it is pregnant with promise.

It points to one thing…
