The Bible does not deny the darkness of the world around us.
The days are evil, and living in evil days can leave our souls weary, heavy and downcast.

But despair can cause us to retreat from life, longing for yesterday while missing what God has given us today.

Yet there is always hope and victory.

By the power of God, believers can live in the midst of the most evil days, walk through the fire, and come out without even the smell of smoke upon them.
