CHAIN-BREAKING TRUTH

John 8:32 (ESV)
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

Freedom begins when we encounter the truth of God.

Jesus was not simply speaking about knowing facts; He was speaking about knowing Him. Jesus is the Truth (John 14:6), and when we know Him, the chains that sin, fear, lies, condemnation, and bo***ge have placed upon our lives can be broken.

1. Truth Exposes the Chains
Sometimes we become comfortable with things that are keeping us bound. Lies can become beliefs, habits can become strongholds, and fear can become a way of life.
But God's Word shines light into darkness. Truth reveals what needs to change. What God exposes, He can also transform.

2. Truth Breaks the Lies
The enemy's greatest weapon is deception. He tells us, “You cannot change,” “You are not good enough,” or “You will always be this way.”

But God's truth declares otherwise.

- Where there is fear, God says, “I am with you.” (Isaiah 41:10)

- Where there is condemnation, Scripture says, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.” (Romans 8:1)

- Where there is bo***ge, Jesus says, “If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.” (John 8:36)

You don't have to live according to the lies you have believed.

3. Truth Leads Us Into Freedom
Jesus does not merely reveal our chains; He provides freedom from them. The more we know Christ and allow His Word to shape our thinking, the more we walk in genuine freedom.
Freedom is not simply the absence of chains—it is the ability to live according to God's purpose.

Today, let the truth of God's Word replace every lie, fear, and limitation.

CONCLUSION
There is a truth that can break chains.

That truth is Jesus Christ.

Whatever has held you captive does not have the final word. Your past does not have the final word. Fear does not have the final word. Your failures do not have the final word.

Jesus has the final word.
“And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:32

Prayer:
"Lord Jesus, expose every lie and every chain that has kept me from walking in Your freedom. Help me to know Your Word, believe Your truth, and live in the freedom You have purchased for me. Break every chain and lead me into the life You have called me to live. In Jesus' name, Amen."

I Will Be With You

Joshua 1:5 ESV
“Just as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. I will not leave you or forsake you."

Joshua was stepping into a new season of leadership. Moses was gone, the responsibility was great, and the future was uncertain. Yet God did not promise Joshua that the journey would be easy. He promised that His presence would be with him.

The same God who was faithful to Moses would be faithful to Joshua. His presence was not dependent on who was leading, what circumstances looked like, or how difficult the assignment would become.

Sometimes we face moments when we feel inadequate because someone we depended on is no longer there, or because we are entering unfamiliar territory. But God reminds us: “I will be with you.”

You may not know what tomorrow holds, but you can know Who holds tomorrow. You may not have all the answers, but you have God's presence. And where God is present, you can move forward with courage.

Today, remember:
* You are not walking alone.
* You are not abandoned.
* You are not facing the future in your own strength.
* The God who was faithful before is still faithful today.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for the assurance of Your presence. As I enter every new season and face every challenge, help me to remember that You are with me. Give me courage when I feel weak, faith when I cannot see the way, and confidence in Your promises. I will move forward knowing that You will never leave nor forsake me. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Many blessings
