TRUE CONTENTMENT
Philippians 4:11-13

Men are never satisfied, but contentment is something you must learn.

Contentment does not mean settling for less or having no desire to grow. God will give you the desires of your heart. It means your peace is not controlled by your circumstances.

Be grateful for what God has given you now. Grow, but don't let your growth destroy your peace. Don't let the drive to succeed make you miserable.

Paul said, "I have learned." He learned to experience life and death, freedom and imprisonment, suffering and abundance.

Don't confuse contentment with complacency. Complacency makes you suffer, but endless ambition makes you never rest.

One of the greatest enemies of contentment is comparison. Our greatest hunger as humans is God.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 — Thank God for what He did last before asking for what's next.

Luke 12:14-34 — Don't be attached to things; it only brings stress. Contentment protects you from greed.

Lord, bless me with more, but don't let money become my master. Help me to be grateful.

God's presence is greater than your possessions. Rest. Be Happy.

THE WORKS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT — Pastor Grace

Luke 4:1

Our Lord Jesus started His ministry when the Holy Spirit came upon Him. The Spirit took Him to the wilderness to pray. That was a preparation for the ministry ahead.

John 14:15-17

1) Temple of the Holy Spirit

You are the temple of the Holy Spirit, and He needs a place to dwell and work in our lives. We can't do anything in the kingdom without the Spirit of God.

In order to be a Christian, you need the Spirit of God.

When you allow Him to stay in you, He will guide you, teach you, lead you, and help you by giving you wisdom and knowledge from the Father.

Acts 1:5-8

2) The Power of the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit does not come empty-handed.

Acts 2:1-11

When the disciples received the Holy Spirit, they received power, power to speak in tongues and bring the gospel to the ends of the earth.

3) The Holy Spirit Is the Great Soul Winner

Acts 8:4-8

The Holy Spirit can use anyone and/or any situation to save someone's life.

Acts 8:26-40

The Holy Spirit needs us to be available for Him to use us.

4) Warning from the Holy Spirit

Acts 21:11-12

The Holy Spirit always warns us when there is danger ahead of us. If we reflect on our lives, we will see how the Holy Spirit warned us from certain dangers.

6) The Holy Spirit Makes Us Be Born Again

To be born again is to be right with God. The Holy Spirit will make you rightful with God.

7) Things That Silence the Voice of the Holy Spirit in Our Lives:
Worries
Focusing on the things of the world.
Unforgiveness.
Iniquity: living a sinful life will cause you to not hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
A lukewarm Christian, and here are the signs:
They do not repent.
They do not develop a way to hear from God.
It is easier for them to please their flesh rather than God.
Disobedience.
8) What Are the Benefits of Having the Holy Spirit?
He will guide us.
He will teach us.
He gives us peace and comfort.
He produces a good character within us.
He gives us power.
He helps us when we pray.
