*Manna: Jou gesindheid maak ’n verskil!*

_'n Vrolike mens is 'n gesonde mens, 'n neerslagtige mens raak uitgeput._ Spreuke 17:22

Wat d**k jy het die grootste uitwerking op jou geluk?
jou omstandighede
jou gene
jou gesindheid

PARTY sou “omstandighede” kies. Hulle sê dalk: “Ek sou gelukkig gewees het . . .
“as ek maar net meer geld gehad het”
“as ek maar net gelukkig getroud was”
“as ek maar net gesonder was”

Maar in werklikheid het geluk dikwels meer te doen met jou gesindheid as met jou omstandighede of jou gene. En dit is goeie nuus. Waarom? Want anders as jou omstandighede of jou gene—waaraan jy min of niks kan doen nie—kan jy iets aan jou gesindheid doen.

Ons Skrif gedeelte sê: “’n Vrolike mens is ’n gesonde mens, ’n neerslagtige mens raak uitgeput” Met ander woorde, jou gesindheid maak ’n verskil! Dit kan bepaal of jy ’n doelwit bereik of tou opgooi en of ’n tragedie die beste of die slegste in jou na vore bring.

Crying Out in Scripture
The following Hebrew and Greek words, their definitions, and the descriptions of how they are used in Scripture give a clear picture of what it means to cry out.

A cry of deep distress: zaaq(Hebrew)
God “didst see the affliction of our fathers in Egypt, and heardest their cry [zaaq] by the Red sea . . . and . . . didst divide the sea before them so that they went through the midst of the sea on the dry land” (Nehemiah 9:9–11).

To cry out for help: tsaaq(Hebrew)
When the Israelites could not find freshwater in the wilderness, Moses “cried [tsaaq] unto the Lord; and the Lord showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet” (Exodus 15:25).

To call with a loud sound: qara(Hebrew)
“Jabez called [qara] on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed . . . . And God granted him that which he requested” (I Chronicles 4:10).

To shout a war cry: ruwa(Hebrew)
“Then the men of Judah gave a shout [ruwa]: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel” (II Chronicles 13:15).

A cry for help: shavah(Hebrew)
“He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry [shavah], and will save them” (Psalm 145:19).

A cry of deep distress: tsaaqah(Hebrew)
“. . . He forgetteth not the cry [tsaaqah] of the humble” (Psalm 9:12).

To cry out: krazo(Greek)
When the Apostle Peter walked out on the water at the invitation of Jesus, Peter was “afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried [krazo], saying, Lord, save me. And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand and caught him” (Matthew 14:30–31).

To implore with a strong voice: boao(Greek)
A blind man in Jericho heard that Jesus was passing near him. “And he cried [boao], saying, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me. . . . And Jesus said unto him, Receive thy sight: thy faith hath saved thee” (Luke 18:38–42).

seven things to do daily which increase your faith
1 Don't depend on you. (Let God lead the way you cannot)
2 Cry out to God (pray to admit your weakness)
3 Run from evil (desires, the lust of the eyes, pride)
4 put God first in everything (give him the glory)
5 Check yourself by God's word (don't have excuses for your sins)
6 Listen to the Holy Spirit (the voice that tells you it is sin)
7 Rest in Gods love. (Bad times is the time when He teaches you with Fatherly love, he prepares you for your tasks. Thank Him even for the bad times.

God always forgives us, because He loves us. We have to learn to forgive ourselves too. Do not ponder on the sins you have committed rather ponder on the word of God. Do not think of sins of the past build the relationship with God

After some success, marred by repeated failures, I was remonstrating against myself one night, when the Lord clearly spoke to my spirit, saying, “You are much harder on yourself than I would ever be!”

It was a moment of applied grace that enabled me to stop crucifying myself at every failure and take a fresh approach to find freedom.

That approach involved a focus on developing intimacy with God rather than a fixation on my failures.

My God can do anything anywhere. We need to pray for each other. Every night at eight I have a meeting with God. Pray with me.
