Good Morning KM🌻
Colossians 3:15 "And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful."

Life can often feel busy, uncertain and overwhelming. We face decisions, challenges and situations that can easily steal our peace but Paul reminds us that as believers, we are called to let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts.
When worries arise, we can choose to surrender them to Jesus and allow his peace to have the final say.

Paul also connects peace with thankfulness. A grateful heart helps us focus on God's goodness rather than our problems. When we take time to thank God for his faithfulness, our hearts become more aware of his peace.

Trust him with your concerns today, choose gratitude and allow his peace to guide you throughout the day.

Good morning KM family ✨❣️

Your devotional for today comes from Psalms 34:17-18
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles. The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The author of this Psalm is King David, who experienced deep distress, having faced immense danger and persecution.

This Psalm reminds us that the creator of the universe is neither distant, detached nor ignoring your tears.

It is actually in these deep, vulnerable moments that God is right there, actively saving and mending those who feel entirely crushed.

God intimately hears the cries of His people and draws closest to them when their hearts are completely shattered.

The verse does not state that the righteous will avoid trouble. The deliverance it speaks about may not always be an immediate end to the trials but rather assurance that the situation will not defeat you.

By crying out to Him, you invite His strength to sustain you and most importantly deepening your reliance on His grace.

Let this verse be a reminder to:
- Acknowledge the pain
- Embrace His presence
- Trust in His timing

Ask yourself:
- Are there any heavy burdens, fears or heartache that you have been trying to carry on your own??
- How does it change your perspective to know that God is close to you in this very moment??

Today's devotion is from Jeremiah 1:19- *They will fight against you but will not overcome you, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.*
Opposition in life is inevitable, but defeat is not because we have God on our side. In this scripture God prepared Jeremiah for the reality that his calling would bring criticism and hostility, yet His promise was clear: “They will not overcome you.”
When we walk in obedience to Gods calling, challenges will arise, but His presence is our shield of protection. God’s rescue is not always removing us from the battle, but the assurance that the battle will not destoy us. The enemy may try to intimidate us but God’s Word guarantees victory through His presence.

God’s presence is stronger than any opposition. No matter what forces rise against us, His power is always greater.

Our obedience draws divine protection, because God stands as our defender. Victory in Christ is not about avoiding battles, but about facing them with faith and courage, knowing that through Him we overcome them.

The struggles we encounter are not signs of defeat but opportunities to experience God strength, His protection, and His unfailing love.

In every trial, Gods faithful promise remains- Psalm 91:7 — A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand but it shall not come near you.

Psalm 121:1 "I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from?".

Psalm 121:1 is a devotional reminder to focus on God, not on earthly problems, because our help comes from the Creator of heaven and earth, not from the potentially dangerous hills that surround us.

The verse encourages a shift from looking at difficulties to looking up, acknowledging that the one who made everything is our ultimate source of strength and aid in every circumstance.

Key points for devotion

The question of help: The verse begins with a question, "From where does my help come?" This acknowledges our need for help and the challenges of life's journey, whether a literal dangerous road or the figurative "hills" of our personal struggles.

The answer: The immediate answer is, "My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth". This is a declaration of faith, connecting help to God's supreme power and ability to create everything.

Reframing perspective: Lifting one's eyes to the hills symbolizes looking to the external, but the verse corrects this by showing that true help isn't in the visible, powerful-seeming mountains, but in the powerful God who made them. This encourages a spiritual perspective over a worldly one.

A daily reminder: The psalm is a "Song of Ascent," sung by pilgrims traveling to Jerusalem, a journey that could be perilous. It serves as a reminder that God is with us through every step of our journey, both on the road and in our lives.

Reflection and prayer
Acknowledge your dependence: Recognize that you, like the psalmist, are dependent on a power greater than yourself for strength, peace, and joy. Confess that you need help from the Lord every day.

Shift your focus: When you feel overwhelmed by problems, consciously turn your attention away from them. Instead of looking down at your feet, lift your eyes up and look to the "Maker of heaven and earth".

Trust the Creator: Trust that the same God who created the entire universe is fully capable of helping you. His power is greater than any of your challenges. Praise Him for being your constant helper.

Praying the verse: Use the verse as a prayer: "I lift up my eyes to the mountains—where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth. Lord, help me to always look to you for my strength, especially when life feels hard. In Jesus' name, Amen."

Good morning KM Family,
Galatians 4:4 says,
"But when the fullness of the time had come, God sent forth His Son..."
God is never early and never late. He works according to His perfect timetable.

For generations, God's people waited for the promised Messiah, and when the appointed time arrived, Jesus came into the world exactly as God had planned.

This verse reminds us that God is actively at work even when we cannot see it. Seasons of waiting are not wasted seasons. While we wait, God is preparing circumstances, shaping our character, and aligning His purposes for our lives.
If you are waiting for an answer, a breakthrough, healing, or direction, be encouraged today. The same God who sent His Son at the perfect time is faithful to fulfill His promises in your life. Trust His timing, even when you do not understand it.

Remain steadfast in Him, while acknowledging Him as your faithful Lord and Saviour.
