We are a city wide church based in Morningside, Durban, South Africa. We want to love people into God’s Kingdom and to help them follow Jesus! Following Jesus means to know His words, do His works, fulfil His will and live His way. Following Jesus means we have a God-given purpose: we believe that everyone is loved by God and our purpose is to proclaim and demonstrate Jesus’ love and power to ever

📢 Our Big Announcement 📢

40 years ago Lea & I planted the Vineyard Church Durban. After much prayer, careful consideration & many conversations with our core team as well as good trusted friends, we believe that it’s time to “hand on the baton”. We are excited to announce that we will be handing the leadership of VCDBN to Matt & Pips in September 2027.

Leadership transition remains one of the big challenges in the local church, however, we know Jesus builds His Church in spite of us.

We remain fully committed to this house, to sit under their leadership and to serve when & wherever we’re needed.
